In bulgaria today we celebrate the day of Christ's rebirth and the tradition requires us to say "Христос Воскресе" or "Chris is risen" today and the the other person must say "Воистина воскресе" or "He really did" in english.
So everybody

Well you can be atheist and still celebrate the holyday. I personally am atheist but i love all the egg banging thing, its my favourite tradition. Also all my eggs were broken today :(

In bulgaria we paint eggs in thursday and saturday. Then 2 people grab an egg and bang the both up and down side of the eggs in eachother's eggs. The egg that gets both ends broken loses.

I'm a christian, but I hate traditions, they make no sense whatsoever. Why in the hell would you paint and smash eggs, it's not related to Christ's rising at all.
But in a world where 95% of the christians still believe the existence of churches and traditions is important to God I doubt my words have any weight.

i don't see what good any religion has ever done ? religions do nothing but cause war.
people kill in the name of their so call god, thinking how it makes them better than the rest of the world, which also has other gods in whose name they kill. all religious people are like one big herd, completely mindless and willing to do anything for their "god". not to mention they blame the devil for all the bad things that happen.
if god created humans on his picture, god was one big dog humping smelly crotched brat.

I don't really understand stand-up comedians, what's their purpose? if they are serious about religios talk then they are completely clueless. For me it looks like they are trying to convert the non informed masses to atheism, but if you actually know anything about religions you will maybe understand everything he says is bullshit. If they are just doing stand-up comedy, I'm cool with that, obviously sheeps who know nothing or good trolls.
