Basically a game of I Am Legend.
Looks like it might be good but it may be a massive disappointment. I remember a while ago they were talking about it on the tv and it looked ok. Will just have to wait and find out... however long that will be.

hmm developed by ubisoft.. I don't have my hopes up.. but hey ya never know
-------------------------
Plot
The game takes place in Chicago after a 10.3 Mw earthquake destroys the city and the rescue team fails to save the survivors. The player has to evade enemies, keep from becoming dehydrated, find his missing girlfriend and stay alive in a crumbled city of hate.[3] The player also has to evade citizens throughout the game, as they'll do anything in order to take his belongings, and use them as their own.
Gameplay
The player controls Adam in a first person perspective. The player can use various tactics to stay alive, including using an empty gun to threaten enemies, finding food and water around the city in order to keep Adam alive and healthy and use of actual live weapons, including pistols, machine guns, and grenades if found. The player can also drive abandoned vehicles, driving the vehicles will be in the traditional third-person view, and running or walking can be toggled between first and third person.

Screw you man, Ubisoft has done some pretty wicked games.

Sounds nice. :D
I hope there's an earthquake while I'm fighting for water with some random gypsy citizen.

Ubisoft is terrible, only dwarfed by Activision at how terrible they are to their fans.

don't forget EA

It's practically gaming law that any title will never live up to the hype surrounding it. Games like Black & White, Blinx, The Thing, Time Crisis, etc.
The gimmick within the above titles never quite played out the way it was touted in previews and pre-release publicity. Whether I Am Alive's premise could be considered a 'gimmick' is up for grabs, I suppose. But I've been disappointed enough in the past to be a tad cynical.
