Title: Magic Bullet Looks
Post by: A maid on February 02, 2011, 10:25:18 AM
It crashes when I import a preset with it or the effect alone. I don't have any projects with it already opened so I can't see if it works there.

Simply my Vegas won't respond when I open it and I use it pretty often since it started working with my new card, but it's been acting buggier and buggier and now it's
dead.

heeeelp :(

I'd rather not do that when I just finished editing a project.. things always fuck up when I do it.

Any other things I can try?

well sometimes MBL crashes even when I click on the effect name!
the solution is to open the mbl exe on windows! let it open and then open vegas and open mbl on vegas!

in this way it doesn't crash for me

That's weird.. I only have 2 files in the folder but no exe.

Just fuck Magic Bullet, it has got the worst performance I ever experienced with a plugin. You can do all that stuff with other FX aswell and even got a faster encode than with that crap lol.

Solution: Uninstall :ajaja:

I expected a different solution from an editor like you.

You disappoint me, Andre.

He's right, except that performance is actually better in many ways. There's lots of filters in there that are VERY useful and can't be done with anything else (anamorphic flares etc), but anything else just needs the 3 way colour correcter, levels and saturation. Generally MB Looks is unnecessary (although quicker and better overall). Usually all you need is the CC plugins within your video editor, and use MB to get a more stylised look.

Solution = buy the programs or at least use the trial, because any pirated version is not going to be the same, no chance. That's why you're having conflicts, I can tell you now.

Trial = watermark
Buy = I don't use the payment methods they offer + expensive

It might be expensive, but hey if you want to cheat them out of what they deserve go ahead :P

Amazing isn't it, legally acquiring software, who would have thought someone would do such a terrible thing? :cc_detective:
