Title: Blast From The Past: Zero Hour 2

Released on November 14th 2005 Zero Hour 2 (http://www.gtastunting.net/index.php?topic=8514.0) was ZeroX’s final solo stunt effort. It is an incredible little video, highly technical and a showcase of the great variety of stunts and vehicles with which ZeroX was proficient. Not only was he good for the big air, this ATS vet was also able to nail tough cork grinds and provide his fans with plenty of wtf!?! moments – the stunt at 2:15 in this video remains the most creative freeway stoppie-grab ever landed. Surely it is this versatility that makes ZeroX one of the most complete stunters we have had at GTAS.

Musically, Dimmur Borgir was then and remains a popular choice for stunt videos. While I don’t usually like this kind music, for some reason it always seems a good match for stunting. When combined with the heavy green filter and freeze frames in the opening of Zero Hour 2, you just know you are in for a treat.

Machine-like in his execution, ZeroX was seemingly able to land anything on any vehicle.

So ahead of its time.That Freeway stoppie 2 grab was insane.Great to see so many different techniques in a video , this guy was definitely a complete stunter.

This is one of the first videos I saw about a year ago and it made me think psm grinds were cool :happy: . The freeway nosegrind on the fence to the spinning grab was fucking awesome.

Looking back, ZeroX was definitely an idol for me in terms of grinding, but this clearly shows how versatile he really was. He loved to experiment with a lot of things as you can see by his very solid performance in this video. And yeah that freeway stunt looks pretty insane even today.

It's strange in the way that it's almost textbook with the stunts that were shown, but this video shows more variety then anything. Just look at 2:15, freeway stoppie to grab, nobody does that anymore.

This is what stunting is about.

PS: Merrix, you're doing a great job with this blast from the past, it's real nice.

Can't believe I've missed this. Anyway, the video was awesome, loved the grinds and Freeway stuff.

I've always been "frustrated" by how he left the forum after a weird situation. I heard he had stunts supposed to be used in Trial by fire... too bad but I liked his "I don't give a fuck" attitude.

About the stunter, he was just sick. I've always loved how he used to "turn" when he was on rail, it was all about style. The guy was a freaking perfectionist with a visual identity, I miss that nowadays. That stoppie to grab and his finisher in mutuality were his best stuff I can think of.

Australians rocked so hard back in the days.

Enjoyable watching that again. As a person I struggled to warm to him, he was extremely prone to odd mood turns but everyone always admired his stunting, always wanted to see more.

As for the video, typical ZeroX video, that guy was unique and really had his own style if you ask me.

Bit harsh there Sweet, anything could've been going on in his life and some people just have their ways of dealing with stuff. You might be right but fact is we don't know and shouldn't be so quick to judge.

Besides you were more of a dick than he was sometimes, like when you were asked to leave TMS for your naughty behaviour :p

This blast from the past feature is the best thing I've seen on here in ages, awesome idea.
