Why do you make those pan/crop movements if you know your cam angles aren't so clear anyway? Those pan/crop movements were really annoying and made everything look even more unclear. Appart from that, all the effects you used are not really fitting and they even reduced the flow of the editing. The only thing i could enjoy a bit was the cc.
Overall, i'm gonna vote no, you should practice more and work on your cam angles and pancrops.

Angles are one of most important things in editing they are meant to improve the stunt itself making it unique & better than it actually is, they're to emphasize the quality of the stunt, even when it's lacking.
I mean, would you enjoy STA as much without the unique angles, the smooth & fluent camera movements with the right angles make the stunts look fluent & enjoyable to look at.
I don't get why you flip off when you're given a perfectly reasonable, constructive criticism, that's meant to aid your editing abilities.
Kast isn't saying that he's better than you, he's rather humble & you should thank him for spending his time & effort in helping you, instead of just insulting him without a valid reason.
Edit: Nvm, you edited your post, but I'll leave this here just in case.

You must practice your cam angles yourself so you can make them unique. As with the editing, the cam angles are also a matter of taste/style, just check out some videos & try to observe & make your own style out of it, try to be as smooth as possible & make the stunt perfectly visible & emphasize what's so great on the stunt, if it's height, try to make it look somehow higher than it actually is, backward view is a great start for that matter.
I just didn't like that you said that Kast's angles are no better & that angles are irrelevant to the editing process as long as the stunts are in plain vision, don't let your hanger get over you :)

You definitely have the quality for a pin in my opinion (you're probably better than some crews that were pinned in the past/now). So yeah, it should happen.
And XtO, that tournament idea didn't end up how we planned it (it was supposed to be a private voting but some discontent people wanted it to be a public poll, which turned out into a battle who can get most people to vote for his crew), but its decision was fair, since D+ is indeed the only out of the 3 contenders that actually is still active.

Wow, what an ego. First of, I recreated the topic because Franco was away and it had many updates to be made. Second of, your crew is not a godlike as I said a few pages back, so quit this bullshit. Third of, we are active as many other crews there. Also, talking about activity, I see that you have 6 members, although your portfolio has 2 videos edited by you and 2 by Kast, where are the other members activity, I ask.
Also, you made a big mistake when you first started this crew by lieing that iCy joinned you and bla bla. You are my guest to show me any case that D+, BT or RHD did something to earn some spam into their topic, occasioning in some topic bumps.
Cut your shit and try to earn something because you deserve. Or, you could just gtfo and join some random video producing forum and get some section due to your "quality"

As far as i see, you always think quantity means hard work. Trust me, nobody would pin an editing crew with tons of mediocre/bad editing projects. It's all about the quality of the stuff.

I have to vote no. In my opinion his audition was not as good as his other projects. He kind of mixed up BeaT's & Pmarci's styles. I would love to see him making a new audition with more atmosphere and less effects to every flash. There were a few laggs too. But all in all Kacknase has the potential! I talked to him about it and he kind of agreed that some of his projects are great and then others are a few let offs. Good luck tho! Show it to the others... because now KasT can steal Arti's stents anyway :P

Maybe this is just me but from what I see EV is kind of well..bleh.
I mean Currently I wouldn't think twice about you guys probably being the best edit crew but I feel it's a bit well...let me restate.
You guys are really good, but imo it's cause you got most of the great editors already, everybody knows kast cw delfy, etc are pro editors but, again, maybe it's just me but I would rather see a crew get some noob editors and turn THEM pro.

In my opinion a crew like digital+ or Beyond Tomorrow would fit more to you.

About Tracker's audi, I like dthe edit, yes, but it seemed like a plain copy of Rusch's edit, I mean.. I missed the originality, which is an important thing. The video seemes like a simple, everyday solo with nothing new, nothing that seemed to be above the level of all those monotoneous solos I am seeing everyday. Other than that, it was nice, I can't say it wasn't, the effects were all well placed and nicely made, same for the cam angles and the others, but I'm gonna vote no, as couldwalker did, for the reasons I've mentioned above.
E: Oh, just noticed the "Rusch's style" thingie. It still doesn't matter much, we want to see your style, not how you try to edit in the same style as somebody else. It still haven't affected my vote, sorry. :P

I actually liked Tracker's videos. They were nicely done, tho i didn't enjoy soundtracks. I have to agree with cloudwalker on this one. It seems like you've recorded all the stunts then chose a song and added flash effect on every drum bit. In my opinion you should first choose a soundtrack and then record stunts in a fitting way. It was good but not good enough - you can do better than this. I'd say 'no' to this one.

I guess the limit fps of GTA VC .LC . SAiVC is 30 Fps and with Frapsing it becomes 15 fps ,I have this Thing too and it's kinda fast also in GTA SA same thing but with the Resolution Allowed 1280x720x32

Sorry but I am way too overworked to update everything about this topic. I will do it now but I am working 8-9 hours a day. Everytime I come in MSN or GTAS.net people ask me how far I am with Suck It Up. Another reason is I enjoy other games than GTA SA too + it's very hot in germany so after / before work I usually hang out in the garden and chill.
About FloW, in my eyes your one of the best out here in GTAStunting, your camera angles are extremly smooth, your effect choice is always fitting and you have style.
Now the only problem I have is that Gavran - Ravenflight is more than 7 months ago and between that gap you didn't really edit anything? Because honestly we have enough inactive members and I am currently only recruiting active people. I want to try it tho just because I love your editing so my vote is yes.
I don't know if it means that you're in... maybe Determined, Krash86 & Kukiel should vote too.
After Spidex gave himself a project deadline of 31st March "when I don't have a project until then you can kick me" he still didn't do anything...

Well, I know I am not the one to talk about the inactiveness, but yeah, I guess we have a lot of inactive members, including myself. SpiDex went inactive since the day he joined and he hasn't yet edited any project, same for Felly, Kusiu and Macc. Sorry guys, but I really don't see the point in keeping you in the crew if you simply don't do anything at all. Again, I know I'm not the one to talk, but atleast I have 2 projects and I have another one coming this week or probably the next one. I'm really busy at the moment, but I promise this will change and I will have more projects in the future. The truth is that, at the moment, EV=CW, Kukiel, Determined and Krash.

Well, I've just watched all of his vids from his channel and I agree with you. I'm gonna vote no too, mostly because his level isn't yet at our standards. I mean he is kinda unexperienced and cannot yet make a proper cc, proper cam angles and effects. Not to mention that his vids are totally out of sync.
To Basium:
Work more on your projects and try to get rid of those lags in the first place. Try to find a decent cc aswell, something that fits to the music and video's atmosphere and it's not disturbing. Try to sync all your effects better to the music and also try to find some fitting ones for every sequence you apply them to. Work more on your atmosphere too.

It is a high point for me, and that won't change. I can judge his editing towards the song because the song was so annoying I could hardly watch it, let alone concentrate. NumeRo's best of has nothing to do with this, besides I was going for a dull style on that video and when it were to get higher I would make the CC brighter and so on. The clips are not speed up, they were recorded at 10 FPS and speed up to 30 FPS so I can only assume NumeRo had low FPS on most of his stunts. I'm not saying White is a shit editor, I'm just saying he needs to improve a little for my liking. Now you can take a dig at my attitude all you want, but this is my opinion and my critic, White seems to be able to take it but for some reason you can't accept the way I rate videos. Now we can have an argument, but for arguments sake, I don't want to argue with you, so drop it Rainbow.
EDIT: On a side note, would you like to watch a stunt video that has only opera music?

I can't agree with you two. On a side, Rainbow is right about about White's editing and the fact that Krash shouldn't judge his editing based on the song he used. On the other side, NumeRo's best of has not even a thing to do with this discussion as Krash had simply rated White's video but hadn't compared to him, so that comparison Rainbow did was rather useless. Anyway, all in all, Krash should be more objective, as he should rate only the facts about editing, not to rate the whole editing regarding to his music taste. (well, I know that the music may be an editing fact sometimes, but in the end, it's all about tastes and you can't criticize someone for liking a certain type of music). In other words, make sure your rating is based on how good the editing is WITH the used song.

You're forgetting the point of this section should be to show off editing, not stunting (at least not primarily).
Should a video be posted here clearly for showing off modded stunts - or to be more precise, a video posted because you'd remove it if it was in the SA section, that otherwise doesn't contain any particular editing, that could be counted as "unfitting" and could be eligible for a removal. But this particular video doesn't. (pretty much every video within a editing crew's production doesn't either). Sorry, that's the way it is.

The angles are pretty good, except for some of the freeplay one's, the CC could've been crafted more accurately to fit the atmosphere of the song, bu it wasn't bad, some of the sped-up parts didn't really look good, however most of the effects were really fitting & complemented the atmosphere giving the vid a nice pace. The vignette effects, however, didn't look all that good, except for the very beginning, where it worked as an opening, that really reminded me of cinema's :lol: Also, some parts could've been synced differently, not saying there's off-sync, just that, some stronger beats would fit better with the effects/clips.

E: @ the audition: Sadly, I'll have to say no... First, the CC could've been better, black and white CC's are actually the hardest to make working, it seemed rather bland & unsharp for me, I think it lacks contrast & something else, but I can't exactly put it in words. Other than the CC, it doesn't seem that you put any effort into this, there are way too many camfucks & the angles aren't too impressive as well, the vid itself lacks motion, some pan/cropping would've been nice, seems like you really rushed this one.

Didn't really like it, so I'm gonna vote no.
1st off, I think you should lower your mouses sensitivity, it seems that it's really high 'cause of the inconsistent, quick movements making the angles totally unenjoyable & bad looking. The colors on first 2 stunts were bad, the first one was way overcontrasted, where the 2nd was overtoned & none of them really looked good, actually, for this kind of song, it's better to stick with just 1 color scheme, as it's pace is constant throughout & nothing really calls for a mood change, I'd like suggest some dark, grunge like, soft/unsharp colors for these kinds of songs, but you can pick anything that you think works with it. The finisher had some nice, fitting colors. Also, try not cutting the clips so inconsistently(concerning the last stunt), just cut from angle to angle while remaining the runtime in tact. Inconsistency can be pulled off, but here it didn't work at all, it just didn't give the right pace & made the vid unenjoyable. When you're working with still angles, if it's an energetic song, do definitely add pan/crop movements to make the vid seem more vivid, but be subtle with it, use some nice consistent movements that are barely noticable, or make constant long switches from 1 point to another making it seem more cinematic. Rotating the clip is also a good way to improve the way the angle looks, but again, don't be too obious with it. Overall, I'd suggest you put more time & effort into your videos, try to think more of the atmosphere & pace, try to make the effects appeal to the colors & the song, imo the cuts would've worked better if they were first blurred out & cropped inwards a bit to create a feeling of a beat going on.
Resolve these issues & make a nice, great looking audition :cc_detective:

Redrum, I'll say no this time, but you have some serious potential. Feedback is coming.
The overall edit is pretty decent, BUT
- you obviously dont know what looks good and what doesnt. I mean that intro was awful, did you really wanted that "just an audition to" to be so much in left? If you did then that prooves my point, if you didnt then its okay (I guess its just a mistake).
- your angles are not smooth and doesnt show the fully potential of the stunt. And they should cause thats what CW likes the most (aswell as me :euro:).
- is there any CC? I mean seriously, if you want to give a mood to the video, you need CC.
- those shakes doesnt fit the main part of the song. Some newblue active camera moves with a little amount of motion blur and earthquake would be perfect imo.

Yup, I told Krash to enter his phone number and reactivate it. (I can't do it because I have too many YouTube accounts). If you want youc an do it too. YT sends you a text message to your mobile phone or calls your home phone...

Probably my worst project yet :lol:
My SA's like totally fucked up, it lags even when I record with 10 fps & my settings aren't even maxed out, there's also the fugly blackroads which I never had before & the reps for this particular vid were hideously long, not to mention that I had to watch them with 5-15 fps, each rep felt like half hour long.
Not to mention that I was not at all motivated to edit & I barely pushed myself to even open up SA & start doing something, just 'cause I didn't want to look like a total ass delaying the project for a week & ending up screwing the guy over.

Those cam angles destroyed it for me. I would have voted yes if you wouldn't have used those Freeplay "1,2,3" Cam Angles. Use the cinematic cam and 0. 1,2,3 suck. :( and 4 is probably the ugliest one.

(and i liked the cc too) .... you should focus a bit more on those camera angles .. :3 and to the text things ... that intro wasnt good at all :l you could have done something to make it looke bit special not just black background with normal font and text , i vote no sry . :l you should do some experiments on effects and use them bit more but not too much and i use way too much dots as you can see btw am i allowed to vote since im still only on trial :|

Nice edit Ltab, I quite liked it. :ajaja: Only downside I could see, is you used too many clips of the last stunts runup, then finalllly showed the stunt which we already knew what was going to happened. You need to keep a bit of suspense in the stunts you edit, and I didn't really like the light rays effect you used, radial blur would have suited better imo.
Never the less, I like your editing, and I'm going to vote yes.

Ok, fine, I'll go for the record & say that the editing wasn't bad, I liked it, but there were many flaws to it, the framerate seemed choppy & some of the angles could've been done better, I didn't really like the CC, it didn't quite fit with the song, some of the effects were nice, but overall, it's not really editing crew material. You have a lot of potential, tho.

This lad is trying real hard. I personally don't enjoy watching those auditions made by BD. I just can't feel it. Camera movements are so quick meanwhile the song is so slow. CC looks ugly and weak. Not much effects used on the beat. It just doesn't rhyme. :(

From me you'll get a yes. I like your song choices and you can build up atmospheres imo. 3 things you should change tho:
1. No random black pauses like in the beginning, they are too repetitive.
2. No random transitions please.
3. A few cam angles were weird. Stay with the normal ones please! :lol:

Fix your angles & colors.
If you don't have a smooth hand or a good mouse, just stick to still angles, some of those were really choppy, which really disrupts the pace of the vid, the CC was nice at some parts, but for the most part, it was really monochromatic & bland. Didn't like how you stretched that one stunt out, it was way too much even if it was a finisher, talking about the one which has 2 camfucks in a single angle. The first part of the vid seemed really inconsistent, those black flashes really didn't fit with the soft blurs, it gave a partially slow & partially fast feel, which, when mixed, didn't go all that well, however, the 2nd part had a pretty nice pace & the effects were fitting, what I hated the most were those slow downs, they were jsut so choppy and unbearable. Overall the vid had a nice atmosphere, but it was disrupted mostly by the choppy angles & some other issues mentioned above, it's good, but it's imo not really editing crew material, so that's a no from me.

Let's start with the cc, It was not a bad cc but at some stunts it was realy ugly.
The black flashes are realy not fitting and some of your transisions too.
Some of your camera angels are realy bad. Some camfucks, some angels are too close but you also had some nice ones.

Don't put a flash on every beat, it's just disturbinng, try more natural synching, use the environment. And work on those flashes, that one looked pretty bad, didn't fit in at all. Loving your angles man, tho that last one was overdone.
you also have a nice flow to vids, just don't try so hard with the effects, your vids are currently better without them, those skills will come with time.
Dunno if I'll have the time to watch the other audi tomorrow, have to reformat+sell my pc, so I'll be absent for a while.

Besides, the only good/active editors in EV are Cloudwalker, Determined, Delfy, Kukiel, Plani, Shifftee, and Promagic. The rest are either average or inactive, EV use to be good but now it's just overwhored with editors, turning into what BT is also turning into. Hell, even BT has lost it's touch since Petar took over from Rusch69, no offence pete.

The crew is overwhored, and CW wanted to ditch EV anyway, which just confirms my opinion on EV. I don't have any hatred towards anyone, or CW, I just don't want to be in an over whored crew with it's main leader wanting to leave.

Didn't like the angles for the first part, try not to move them around as much. Angles at 1:07 'till the end were pretty nice tho. Didn't like the use of Tv simulator, way too spradic, the CC was a bit of a let down, try to make them more fitting to the songs you're working with.
I think you still need to improve before auditioning to a crew, just sort out the pros & cons of your editing & make a new audition when you really feel that you're ready for it.

My auditions were actually the lilj & GDL video which are 4 and 3 days ago. At the time I tried to join BT you weren't online so I couldn't tell you. After that I got rejected anyway so why should I bother telling you?
Determined for example always knew that I am trying.

Well, the video has to be at least one minute long but I can vote on this as well. I didn't feel the video.. I didn't feel the atmosphere. The CC was a bit.. Well.. It was all right but I didn't quite like it. All right choice of effects and okay camera angles but I think it wasn't enough, so unfortunately it's a no from me too. I say no for both guys - alienboy and tailor, cuz tailor's editing was only placed clip after clip and ugly music and alienboy you wanted to impress with a good feeling, but it wasn't as good as it has to be... it means that there were some missing things you could do better.

I dont really like auditions with super clean editings... For me in a audition you have to show your potential and you knowledge over the software you are using to produce videos.Otherwise you have to work hard on cam angles , colors and atmosphere to surprise and entertain the watcher.

Wow I checked this topic's first 13 pages... it's like only spam and lots of big egos. (Also my english was awful).
Anyway looking back I think we deserved the pin and made lots of good videos.
I miss KasT & Delfy tho and it's a shame that we rejected Kacknase back then. That was the worst decision I ever made since I started stunting.
The crew is existing since 1 Year and 1 Month and I feel ashamed of myself for trying to dump it for BT.
I only thought about myself when I did that and didn't think about the future of EV.
I will also try to vote yes on auditions more often. Especially on editors who are currently improving alot.

Damn it! It wasn't enough that I don't have internet at my place. Yet. And now my PC died with a unfinished project which I tried to finish but I simply had no spare time.. I never see nothing about the FloW in EV. The recent active members at my oppinion are cloudwalker, me and tracker. Always we are puting the EV logo in our videos and also we puting the videos in the EV account or just adding to our list of reproduction.
Now I'll traveling and just I will back at 7th of January. See you guys in some days. ;)

Okay welcome. In the intro you used a good resolution... while in the main video it was weird and amde the quality less good. Also don't ever overuse overlays again.

Ooookay... the time has come. I'm saying goodbye, mainly because it isn't the crew that I imagined it to be and good friends of mine left the crew and it became less and less fun. As addition we also got pretty damn inactive and I realized that without those good friends the crew isn't really important to me. I mean we didn't share project files or helped us becoming better at certain things but we were simply friends. Nowadays I don't talk to most of the members anymore... and I don't need any crew to proof me or anything... I never did!
If you want I will continue managing this topic and the YouTube account. This crew doesn't need any leaders but if you want some I would say Determined & Plani would do great (just as an advice).
I had a great time here and I want to thank every member and past member for rolling with EV.
