I've had this problem on my old PC too. I just couldn't run this shit.
I gave it an other shot now on this laptop but still the same happens when I try to install it..

Not sure "what" problem your having? The spawner plug runs when you start the game and will show on your desktop if you minimize out of the game.

The problem is that game never runs.

Happens to me all the time.
To fix, do this:
saivc_go.exe properties.
Compability mode/Windows 98/ME/Run 640x480/Run this application as administrator.
Should fix yours ;)

If you run it in 98/ME then wouldn't the replays appear in a folder hidden deep in your computer?

Maybe because I didn't find "Run this application as admin" thing...

Click on the saivc_go.exe, choose the "Run As" option, and you'll se there the Administrator option.

Edit: Well I really have no idea what this is used for but it helped some people before.
