My father uninstalled my GTA because he claimed that it took too much room in the C drive. I dont use that drive at all (I have 3 hard drives)
So, I go to install it, and I get the downgrade path for it and it crashes after loading. Well, it'll load but turn black after wards and freeze my computer... Whats a solution to this?

I honestly need to know... I am sooooo bored...

I've never heared about this problem but you could try out several things. First of all delete GTA once again and check your computer for any remaining files such as registery entrys and stuff. Then try installing it again and maybe try another patch or so. If you are using any crack this may be the cause. It may not fit your patch or something. Just try these things out and tell us the results.

Run the game one time, then close it.
Go to My Documents and find 'GTA San Andreas User Files', find 'gta_sa.set' in that folder and delete it, now try running the game again.
That usually works but I don't know in this situation, hope it helps.

have you got a new monitor or anything?
If not then reinstall it to the original folder then just cut it over to somewhere new

Maybe I could delete all my mods (store them obviously), delete the gta_sa.set (what does that do?), uninstall, then reinstall... Back in a bit :ajaja:

delete the gta_sa.set (what does that do?)
It resets the settings of the game. When you load the game next time the file will be created again.
