Oh... my... sweet.... fuck. Honestly, this IS the best video of all time. Kicks Unorthadox right out the door. The stunts were just... too epic to explain, seriously. Editing was Unique in its own special way, with the syncing of the weather. The song was... fucking incredible. All in all, there is no point in opening VC for the next couple months, because nobody will ever come close to beating this.

Fucking amazing video! Speechless. Every stunt made me :o The opener was shocking, especially synced with the drums. Every stunt there after was fucken incredible. Editing was great, top job TB, loved it. The song was actually really good, gave a great atmosphere. Best video of all time for me.

Huge thanks to Barney letting me edit this, was amazing fun. Lots of hard work, it took countless renders with a multitude of errors before Vegas let me render a final product. We started the process about, 2 months ago and just now its coming out. Big thanks to Daffy for the CC's, which added tons more issues for me but was worth it in the end. Big thanks to Kaneda for scripting the intro and teaching me a bit about the whole thing. Big thanks again to Barney for being so patient with my editing and PC issues.
All and All I feel honored to have been a part of this video, and it will be hard for me to ever top this, not only in editing, but simply in the feeling and atmosphere of the video.
Thanks to all for Dling and watching, I will do the AVI tonight and create the .mkvs tomorrow. Hopefully no errors occur.
Anyways, thanks again to all involved and all who download and watch this video.

I can't say I liked the editing, it felt as if I was listening to the song and watching the stunts in a loop reel. There was no flow at all to the video, total lack of sync. I got no feeling from the video after the initial stunt, and I don't see why you would use that last stunt as the finisher. Sorry. Barney, you should have made Turtle Boy watch Constant Exhibition over and over for inspiration before taking on a song like this.

While stunt-wise it shits all over UnorthodoX, it still didn't have that epic feeling to it, that UX had, mostly because of the editing. Don't like Dimmi Burger either, so that was a bit of a turn-off here.
Great video, though. The last bit of the outro was badass.

I was like :unsure: and ;D the entire video, I expected top notch stuff but the stunts were just god tier, every single stunt from first to last just raise the bar of stunting, I can not find words for this. Unorthodox was great but this video is just god tier. No one will ever beat this video at all, it's not possible it's like the SA Smackdown of VC, the icing on the cake and what not.
I tip my hat for you sir :euro: . I must thank you for giving me an inspiration to stunt again.

Reviews are useless - they can't express how awesome this video is. It swept any other VC video I seen before. And everything was perfect - from the intro, to the editing, to the STUNTS.
Well, needless to say every stunt in this was so freaking amazing - almost every stunt could easily be a finisher in any video. Starting from the opener, i was like 'meh, that spot again', but then WOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH, I think you just pulled the maximum out of that spot, doesn't get more perfect than this - the HEIGHT and the SPINS, just wow. The bridge double grind, I know you lost it but it's still a amazing stunt and totally deserves to be in this. Then, just as I thought there were no more ways to land that building in VC, you come up with a insanely goodlooking & difficult drop bump? Just wow. And THEN - what the hell, that ledgegrind. Has to be one of my favourite VC stunts of all time, I mean, it's so simple yet so goddamn pwnage - and as I expect from barney, you grinded it all the way. It's a 15/10 stunt for me. Moving on, a pretty sweet dropbump to that cityhall building, of course with a krail to perfect the execution. And then ANOTHER drop bump, really awesome one this time, just as I thought that bridge was landed in all possible ways - you prove me wrong again. And another awesome thick DOWNHILL ledgegrind - i reckon it was terribly difficult to stay on there til the end - and my god it's awesome. Followed by a INCREDIBLE packer backbump to a building which always makes my jaw drop when landed. Great work man. And then another pretty awesome p2b with great spins in package. And an insanely high POLICE BUMP - never thought you could get such heights by bumping the police, just awesome. And to think just half a year ago I was wowing when people'd land it by CSM.. Then, another awesome natural dropbump, the thing I found pretty sweet with it was the fact it had another bump in it - just enough to land that roof and just enough to make me wow. That TAXIBOOST was just wow - I mean, I wowed when dannye did it to the 'lower' part, but this high with so many great spinning? ... Yet another superb ledgegrind, just to remind us who is the best VC grinder. Insane one man. Then another massive p2b (i was a little let down not to see the higher part landed, but it was still fucking insane). THEN WHAAAAT, probably the most amazing bsm I ever seen, just wow. The height is great. And another simple, yet epic double grind. And then, one of the most jaw dropping moments in the video, THAT PSM TO BB TOP ... words can't describe how awesome it was. Followed by a great looking infy tankbump with massive spinning...... just to come to the MOST EPIC moment in this video. I mean come on... I always get a heart attack when I see someone heading for that building, but with such a krail and SUCH A SMALL LANDING? Has to be the stunt of the year, I can't see anyone topping that, one of the best stunts of all time as well... After that comes a nice long grind on a fucked up rail, and a nice drop taxi boost to a kinda small landing. And then THAT BOAT PRECISION ... I've tried that when I seen burn do smth similar in United, and it was terribly hard for me. Awesome work, it looked flawless. And another pretty neat dropbump WITH a wallride, awesome idea imo.. and a epicness tankbump, great job finding yet another epic way to land that building. And that finisher ... well, words aren't really needed to describe how awesome it looked. Epic way to end the best VC stunt video of all time.

Again, you amaze me, top stunt quality, I was shocked with some stunts, I still can't believe you have done such stuff like the opener, the Starfish Island natural bump followed by another bump, the BB top landing, that dropbump to LC bridge and the Hyman Condo precision, that video was fantastic.

Wow that was an amazing movie, really, the stunts are incredible and will continue to inspire stunters around here for some times :P Great choice of music, the atmosphere was epic, literally, but the edit really lacked of sync that was the only bad part about the video. Props also to kaneda for the intro.

That was amazing, all the stunts were mind blowing. Wasn't a single filler and almost all of them could get 1st 2nd and 3rd in best stunts of the year. Edit was genrally pretty good but the song really took me out of the moment and I didn't like it as much as Unorthodox for that reason. Insane job Barney you've once again raised the bar to impossible heights.
Loved the Cloverfeild ending by the way!

Cool vid. Expected more big stuff and less weird tech but overall it was a pretty great. The whole "Cloverfield" atmosphere was pretty cool too, but a bit cliche. Unorthodox was much better all-round, but this is still a great vid.

The condo psm was luck for the most part but I had a solid setup that gave me pretty consistent bumps. I was originally trying to grind the rail then stay on the roof but I kept bailing it and settled for the precision. As for the hardest stunts, probably the ones that you'd least expect but nothing really took super long. I guess it's just tough rounding up 27(?) stunts for a solo and keeping the standard high.

I tried your LC double grind (4:05) for fun yesterday and you probably know how it turned out, within ten minutes I only once hit the first grind once (just a random bail into it), it seems to be hard as hell... I also have a lot of experience with ledge grinds but I tried the tunnel one for ten minutes also and couldn't get anything solid. Amazing stunts both.
Again a kickass video, actually the first video (probably along with UnorthodoX) that I'd say containing nothing but killers. Keep on rocking dude, I like your work. :)

Epic stuff, but I have to say that I liked Unorthodox a little more. While not a tremendous fan of your soundtrack choices,
your editing has always been solid so this vid didn't have that unique Barney touch to it. Having said that, TB did a
fantastic job with it. Stunts were top-notch as always, but Unorthodox's content had more of a 'wow' factor to them.
Having said THAT, this was still one of the best solos in recent years, and obviously maintains your position at the top
of the stunting totem pole.

This video is really amazing, you're one of my favorite stunters and it's always fun to see you in action. I enjoyed all the stunts, but the execution could have been much better on many of them in my opinion... though the level of difficulty justifies that :lol:

Forewords: Where do I begin... I guess I should say thanks for being asked to edit it and apologize for turning it down as I passed up a chance most people here wouldn't dare to fantasize about.
If a chance like this should present itself once more I know now to take better care off it.
You were a great source off inspiration when I started and you still are, not just a source but the biggest by far more than anything that I can use for as a proper comparison.
Intro: The intro is a good symbol for the status and respect you have earned amongst the people that inhabit this forum, I don't know if that's the thought behind it but I find it quite suiting.
Editing: I kinda expected there to be more effects synchronized with that song as it kinda "asks" for it in a way but as I watched it several times I noticed things I hadn't noticed the previous times and this discovery kinda filled the gap or was at least a good compensation in my book whether it was on purpose or not.
Stunts: I'd like to compare this to Unorthodox stunt wise before commenting as I think it reflects something that's not just limited to your videos but rather the "era" of stunting we're in.
Unorthodox did something for stunting this did not as Unorthodox showed us the potential CSM's, MAG's and ledgegrinds have and took the use of them to the next level, I did not find the same inventing use of some fairly new methods in this.
That being said though there's no denying the stunts in this are great with the exception of a few like dropbump-wallride-to-roof thing in downtown Vice City.
A lot of people have tried to PSM to the Hyman Condo but no one had thought off using the PSM setup you did though it seems so obvious when I watch the video now and your ability to see something other people don't is quite fascinating and makes your videos special.
In danger off going on and on I'll mention my favorites which were:
- The opener which is just a incredibly brutal stunt thanks to the vertical nature off it along with the huge rotation
- The tunnel stoppie-grind which is just fantastic as there's not a stunt like it and it might be the longest grind ever
- Also the ramp2bump2 to the library a spot that I had in mind but had not tried as I was too busy with other spots which I regret now
- The air2bump2bonk2roof in the mansion island in Vice City which is another spot I had in mind but also never got around to try, the bonk on the roof to the higher part is brilliant though I doubt it was planned it makes the stunt so much more impressive, really a great stunt
- The bump2ledgegrind on the first island in Vice City, just a great spot really well executed
- The LC wallBSM, perfect vertical bump and a fantastic stunt as it's the best off it's kind
- The shoreside ramp2doublegrind, awesome use of the natural terrain on that one which I'm a sucker for
- That PSM to the top of the billboard near the stadium in Vice City, the most big-air precision ever landed, perfect in every way
- The infernus precision, a lot of people have tried that only to fail miserably including me... well done.
The back wheel bump to the rail on the dam in Shoreside, first time that's been grinded and from a natural bump... *bowdown*
- The finisher, I had no idea that small "window" part of that site could be landed until I saw it in the video, fantastic stunt.
I guess was a bit too many to be called a favorite list but it's quite hard to only pick a handful.
Music: A lot of the music you or those who edits your videos is quite on the ears to begin with, it's the kinda music I have to listen to for a while before I can enjoy it properly and when I start to, I really like it.
Also well picked atmosphere audio for the intro and the outro, suited the video.
Summary: Well you've done it again and I congratulate and salute you, this is probably the best video of the year and if it wins, it's well earned.

i just realised today how a special way you landed that condo psm
its very difficult to set it up, i could only bump 110-120 ft with my bad setup, so in the lack of that missing 70 ft i never tried it again and i marked that as an impossible one
its fantastic how creative were you by bumping on that chair thing, and you got a lucky precision too... maybe best stunt in this year for the idea and execution too

That was a solid video. Although the music was not something I would personally choose for a stunting video, you liked it, the editing for it was quite good as well.
The stunts were solid and pretty much all big. The standout stunt for me is the second one, the double grind. It's a lot more technical and in my department of stunting and I know that must have been a downright bitch to land.
Lots of respect for still stunting and being able to release a video which is comprised of pretty much only huge stunts.

Smashing video and obviously the best ever stunting solo by anyone, that confirms even more you being my favorite stunter, the vid had it all: from high-hard and really great packer bumps to the awesome grinds[tunnel one in particular] the immense tank bump aswell as the car stunt, taxi stunts, natural double bumping and the really unbelievable PSM's to precision landings , very nice variety along with superb stunting.
It didn't have the "limit breaking" factor as much as Unorthodox had indeed, and the song wasn't really to my taste but after all, its still the best VC video I've ever seen.

The condo psm was luck for the most part but I had a solid setup that gave me pretty consistent bumps. I was originally trying to grind the rail then stay on the roof but I kept bailing it and settled for the precision. As for the hardest stunts, probably the ones that you'd least expect but nothing really took super long. I guess it's just tough rounding up 27(?) stunts for a solo and keeping the standard high.

I liked the introduction, there was a lot of good ideas that were nicely performed, but I found it a bit unoriginal. The stunts were awesome and fitted pretty well with the music and the editing, that I mostly liked. However, I think the last stunt didn't deserve its last stunt place in the video, although it remains great. I didn't like the outro that much. Like the intro, I thought it was a bit missing of something, it seemed a bit "empty" to me.
Overall, it's a very nice video which remains one of my favorite VC videos stunt-wise, although I'm a bit disappointed by the editing.

I saw the second stunt in vid and immediately thought 'didn't a TMS-er do that already?', but then I remembered that they probably just grinded to wallride instead of grinding to grinding like you did. Might've been wee Bob who did it.
I only just watched this now, and it was a pretty cool vid. Ridiculously difficult stunts, it was a bit refreshing to see you attempt the creativity side of things too with a couple of creative grinds and some precisions - you said it yourself at start of topic, you tried to FORCE yourself into using a different style. Even though you spend 99% of your time scraping your arse against the road to get more speed I struggle to comprehend why you'd need to force yourself into changing your style in the first place - UnorthodoX changed everything, and Monolith has annoyingly topped everything.
