Post by: FELIX on June 30, 2010, 06:18:57 AM
First of all here's an example video of the quality:
Boom De Ya Da! | My Tribute to Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMHNp05kP88#ws)

File Size:
27,9 MB only at a lenght of 1 minute.

And here is the guide how to get it like that:

Actually you missed the bitrate which is mostly one of the main things that effect the size :lol:

Nope, on CBR Video you have to change the bitrate. As I already said that mine is always between 2mb/s and 15mb/s. That's because mine is actualy VBR. Trust me, I compared both settings and noticed VBR works better with YouTube.  :mellow:

Do 1920x1080 instead of 1440 because that looks really shitty with side-borders on a 1680x1050.

YouTube doesn't support any better Audio settings. I accept critique. But yours was just useless. Maybe you thought it's still video options but it's under Audio.

Only with OGG you can get a better sound quality! I compared my audio settings with official music videos and mine was better... FOCUS ON THE SETTINGS!

Stop flaming me for being so kind to share them ;_;

thanks to the pixel ratio of 1.333 it's widescreen and ahs no borders.

Just saw that comment now.

I really don't see why you bothered posting these. All the resolutions and pixel aspect ratios would usually be unique to a video, or fairly obvious depending on what they wanted.

All you have done is turned the slider bar down a bit, and there are already much better ways (some even posted on this forum) to get better quality to a smaller file size than by doing that.

Well I also wanted to leave it here before I go. Also I didn't see any 1080p tutorials. Extra point: I got asked about my Settings a lot and I got tired of answering. This is my answer.

YouTube isn't all this is for right? Keep in mind that YouTube could easily increase the audio quality in the future of internet speeds and such, so it's best to keep your videos future proof. Render 192kbps audio at the least.

I am not using my own render settings anymore, and i already use 192 kbit/s settings.

Actually yes i use my own settings... but not those I posted in this forum.
