Hello everybody
Today I must order parts for my new Computer but the problems I do not know what to do to be safe to run GTA IV COD and GTA SA HD with no problems so I would ask if you can choose the parts to me my place because you will know better than I can waste a total of 900 € for info I live in Belgium I pay cash coins with no credit card if you can find me a home site that his book would be much better
900€ max
-
I don't really know the prices of these but get 6 or more GB of RAM, an i7 920 CPU or better and something with nVidia GTX somethingsomething.
don't check at Can I Run It? cuz it says I can run GTA SA perfectly while I can't even turn AA on with lags everywhere. Let alone running it on 1680x1050 and then playing smooth :/
-
you can give me link where I can order the parts and make me get a home?
-
i5 750
ATI 5770
Atleast 4Gb of RAM
Windows 7 OEM (Make sure you get an OEM copy)
I have this and it can run GTA IV fine. If you have the money i would recommend getting a 58xx card, you would be able to run smoothly on high settings.

You would have to look for good website yourself.

I you mean you want to pay by cash and not by credit card then you can't order off the internet can you :L
Maybe it would be better for you to just find a computer shop ?
-
Find a site of your language that specifies on computer hardware, they'll know the right parts and the shop of your liking for you.
-
The problems I do not know what parts are good with which the various

please do not get an ati card. i still regret the time i bought mine.
-
Why not? Why do you regret getting one?
And SkilZ, I seriously do prefer going to some French (according to your hotmail.fr-address) hardware site.
-
I'll buy it normally seem to me its good
-Intel Core i5-750, 2.66GHz, 8Mo Cache L2, Socket 1156, BOXED
-DDR3 4Go (Kit 2x2Go) 1333Mhz PC12800 CL9 Corsair
-GeForce GTX 260 - 896 Mo GDDR3 - 2xDVI / HDMI (Twintech)
-HDD 1 To S-ATA II 300 - 32Mo - 7200RPM
-NEC AD 7240S - DVD±RW 24x Double Couche, S-ATA, Black
-Lecteur Memory Card 3''5 - INTERNAL USB 2.0 Card Reader
-ANTEC SONATA III 500EC

and just find a compatible motherboard and Windows 7 OEM and sorted.
-
BoxXx, why not going for an ATI vga?
-
Cause they've had some pretty fucked up drivers for some of their newer cards. Don't know if they got it sorted now though.

I got this computer for my birthday and all the GPU's been doing is to cause problems.

Like what? :P
Well in case you want to go for nvidia hell don't get GTX 260, go for 400-series instead which is their latest generation of cards (DirectX 11). GTX 465 or 470 sounds good for that configuration. 465 can be overclocked to the level of 470 and 470 to 480, although ATi Radeon HD 5850 is cheaper than 465 and is more powerful and uses less power, so I can come up with no reason why you shouldn't get that.
Dunno how the prices of RAM is out there but it wouldn't hurt going for 8 GB instead of 4, and sure you know that you can overclock i5-750 to a whole new level so do that.

There might be readers who actually don't know about this stuff and GTAS might be their only source of computer related information so at least please explain your opinions against ATi cards, I've seen none so far in this topic. You're (well not you, but you know, people in common) just causing people to believe that crap and that's one of the reasons why they like automatically think that nvidia is better in some way, just because "it just is is".
Someday this guy SkilZ shall burn his house with nvidia card running at temps of 105 celcius and it's on your shoulders dude. :euro:

Getting a lot of artifacts and games just crashing all the time, I think it was mainly the cards that had 2 GPUs on them though.
I've got a HD4850 myself and it works like a charm :a-cheer:

Well they aren't many problems but they're frustrating me as fuck. 3 problems so far
1. ENB Series' shadows option not working
2. Many, MANY, render settings crash @ Vegas
3. Encoding output files fuck up with stucking lags.
-
Well the PC I have my my graphics card is a Nvidia GTX 260 but I have a trouble when I install Windows it gives me the same problems all over the windows including seven the message that appears when I want to install Windows says.
Instalation: Failed 6: / i386/asms Error message: incorrect function.
Someone could tell me what it is? I try to CD / DVD Burner also by its always gives me the same things.

I don't know and I don't wanna know what ENB Series is but by using Google I randomly found this video: GTA SA - ATI HD 4730 Enbseries perfect settings (TEST) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MInsj9ExXfU.#ws) Dunno what's the point of it but it seems to be working finely with ATi card on that video.
I do seriously doubt that the render settings crash in Vegas because of your GPU. Tell me what settings it crashes with (output format, video & audio tab).
Yes, problems with 2 GPU cards do exist and that you can blame on GPU. Mostly because the drivers need to be updated every time a new game support appears, I'm not so sure about them as I have no earlier experience but at least most games don't work in case they aren't especially supported by the drivers.
Don't get me wrong here, I'm not the one to tell you what to buy or that ATi cards have no problems, of course they do just like in every technical product you get problems but you shouldn't blame the GPU of yours for problems like rendering failing, that happens. Although I do think that those who can't follow a step-by-step tutorials like Daffy's ones here shouldn't be rendering with specialized settings at all.
@SkilZ: Google the error message and you'll get help, although I'd prefer going for Windows 7 instead (in case that was XP you were trying to install, errors related to that text were in XP I think).
