Title: My totally new specs.
Post by: A maid on March 12, 2010, 07:56:59 AM
My grandpa already gave me a gaming computer for my birthday which is 29th in April.
SPECSZ0R.

Windows 7 Home Premium (Yes FIGHTER, GTA IV works but with a bit unstable playing)
64 bit system.
6,00 GB RAM
ATI Radeon 4670
Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67 GHz

And my C: drive has 1,3 TB and my additional drive has 1,5 TB.

Am I a lucky bastard or what?

That 4670 totally fucks it in the butt.

its not about the megabytes, its what's under the hood, pipes clock speeds and architecture is what matters, Vram is only important when you're willing to know if your card can run the resolution you perfer.

LMAO HD4670 + i7

That's like using a HD4350 for main graphics, and then installing a GTX295 for PhysX...

Lousy graphics card so pretty much a waste of money getting that cpu.
Pretty pointless having 6GB of RAM 4GB would have been enough so more money wasted there.

Well I still have my old 9600 GT. Can't I add that in my tower?

Nah but you can take out the HD4670 and put the 9600GT back in, which is also crap, but still a lot better than the HD4670 :P

Or you just sell them both and get something semi decent. Doubt youre going to get much more than 10 bucks for them though

That's what life's like...
Don't ever think that somebody who is trying to sell you something is going to tell you the truth, it's business. All that matters is cash, nothing else. Get some uncommited opinions next time you buy something.

Ignore the people saying the 6gb is too much. In a few years when gaming's moved along then 6gb will be the next 4gb.

It looks awesome but Apparently that GFX card is meh.. I wouldn't have a clue but hey If you can afford that new high end one then go get it then you'll have a PC worthy of taking down russia.

Well with the i7's on 1366 you only have 2 options: 3GB or 6GB. 3GB is enough for most things, but still kinda meh'ish sometimes. So 6GB is perfectly fine..most people use that anyways.

"I hope he makes me proud in the nerd olympics"

Thank god I never received presents like that... Gratz tho, don't mind me shitting on your sunny day.
