Just installed the new version of Alien City and I (dunno if this is known or not) found out that you can BOOST with the NRG500. Nothing like the ordinary nitro-boost, this one goes directly to full-speed. What's even more impressive is that, when you press BOOST while RADing or during a wheelie you make big-air jumps instead of gaining speed :lol:
Now I'm wondering if this is acceptable for serious stunting? I mean, of course jumping on a normal building is nothing special, but what about precs, grinds, or something that's really high (even with a superjump).
Pretty similar to 'CJPHONEHOME' if you think about it like that but on the other hand, there are all these heavy discussions about modding so...

It's modding, you can't do that with a clean install of San Andreas, it's a speed-hack kind of thing developed by the creators of Alien City but that doesn't stop you from having fun with it, does it? :P

well it isnt modding imo, cause its in the game without installing any mods, and if you say that clean install of SA is only sa, does that mean that united & AC is modding ? :P

It is allowed to stunt on a modified map, not to stunt with a modified game that makes stunting easier.

Yes and so is LC and SAiVC but it is not like using enhancements to make stunting easier, it's just modifications to make stunting more fun. :P

Just have fun! Even some good stunters still check out the Modded forum.
(if you do not know what a stunt mod, this needs to be in the text books...>_>
A mod that tinkers with the acceleration, movement, or ANYTHING that affects your vehicle, is a mod, that needs to be in the Modded section of GTAS. But if you are on a modded map, it's all cool, post it here!)

:wacko: I agree, it's modding. It's all about the original SA engine, although it is a little 'different' because this time the AC creators added it instead of players. Imo, you could still make a 'theme' video about it.
Indeed it's great fun to jump and boost around ;D especially since most of the buildings are really high.
