my LP was sold second hand through a pawn shop but it had just a couple small scratches on teh back body but a little tough up paint fixed it up. My cousin owns a Sam Ash (a music (mostly guitar) store) and sold me the SG at anice price. my best friend has teh flying V i play it all the time.

the strat i bought at a guitar center it had some dents and stuff but it isn't very notceable and does nothing to the sound. The ibanez i had ordered for my birthday from musiciansfriend and i recieved it just two weeks ago... took about two months. well worth it.

Post by: Eric on October 09, 2008, 08:06:37 AM: an LP Junior with a Duncan Invader in the bridge, its simple and the layout kinda reminds me of the Chuck Schuldiner model, as an amp, my Line 6 broke a while back (POS) and I bought a $60 Behringer to hold me over until I can get a decent job in this economy.

Post by: aMpT Mike on October 12, 2008, 01:46:09 PM: It's a solid acoustic, the strings definitely need to be changed but otherwise it's a good guitar. I think it's part of a bigger company that makes acoustics here in Canada (Quebec). Art & Lutherie, Seagull, and some other ones.

They're made by Godin Guitars, which suprisingly, aren't too bad either.

I went to Guitar Center the other day, so I could wait for my mom to get done helping her friend out with some forms, and....little did I know I was having one of my off days, in which NOTHING sounds good. I must have tried and fiddled with 50 amp settings and around 6-7 guitars, everything sounded out of tune, or it sounded with too much treble and fizz and when I turned it down, there wasn't any oomph to the amp, Ibanez's and Jacksons have always been some of my favorite guitars, but they all played like shit that day!

No, because with guitars you can clearly see what's wrong with them. With a car, you have to wait until something fucks up or it has to be really obvious.
