Title: BSOD
Post by: morbidxxx on October 04, 2008, 02:34:22 PM
Ok I'm posting this here because I just know that if I would post it in the Computer Talk section no one would answer me.
So anyways I got some serious problems. Every time when I open Media Player or Vice City I get blue screen of death. I can't read what does it say because it restarts like after a half second. So yeah I need your help. how can I fix it?

Right click on My Computer, go to Properties, then go to Advanced, then to go Startup and Recovery and click settings, then go to Automatically Restart and uncheck the box

Then tell us the Blue Screen Error name and the 0x000000000 info (theres 4 of these)

Try disabling IRQ boosting and update your drivers (and physx, codecs, directx).

I kinda solved the problem. I was trying system restore to 4 days earlier but it failed. It said that it can't uninstall SWAT 4 so I just did it by myself and after that I haven't got any blue screens

EDIT: Ah crap it started doing it again.
My PC specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750
8600GT 512mb
2GB Ram
