Post by: Hagz on April 20, 2005, 09:39:08 PM: Well after a couple of weeks of work the new video Fusion, a collaboration between ATS and Terror Squad is here. First off I would like to thank all the stunters who took part in this and Kaneda for his extremely fine work on the intro that was done here.

Keep in mind that the intro cutscene was done by Kaneda, but everything from when the music starts on was edited by yours truly.

Be forewarned however, for those who you who don't like long intros, you can skip this one. Its only about 3 minutes and really think its worthwhile watching it. Its quite humorous and explains whats going on aswell. If you REALLY dont want to watch and hate intros then the video starts at 3:20, but I really really suggest viewing the intro. Its awesome.

Also dont be fooled about the 3 cameos we have in this video, we just needed 3 extra stunters to take up space in the intro, if you don't see them properly introduced like the ATS and TS members, then they are not in the video. You'll know what Im talking about once you see them.

They lagged because we had to divx those clips, Nitz had to film them on his pc and try his best to slow them down, because both his reps and UL's reps are EXTREMELY fast, especially on my computer.We think its because of the vast difference in processor speed. So we did what we could with them. :)

Post by: Hagz on April 20, 2005, 10:31:57 PM: Neo, Me, Dark, Max, and Nitz all had 6 stunts. Kan had 6 but he requested I remove one of them.

Then I think UL had one stunt left out, and Matt had one stunt left out. But out of the 54 stunts that were sent in, 51 one of them were used, it would have been 52 but Kan suggested to remove one of his.

So its pretty even all together stuntwise, just two stunters are missing one because the song was a tad too short.

IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ve only just recently watched this vid (final render) and I am blown away by the stunts that your guys have done. So if you donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t mind I have went to the trouble to select one of each memberÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s stunts that I believe to be there best.

ZeroX that cork-2-grind-2-cork (6:09)Ã¢â‚¬Â¦ omfg.
Matt, that bump to the red crossbar at the construction yard (6:25)Ã¢â‚¬Â¦ I tried that heaps and could not get it, so awesome work. (and you made it look easy which pisses me off).
Urban Legend, although I donÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t like Bigbang stunts I have to say that the one you did from the peer to the little hooch out in the water (5:46) looked kick ass.
GTA Fanatic, that packer-2-grind you did at KenjiÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Casino (6:35) was brilliant. I was looking at an inventive way to do that grind but I didnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t think of that.
Madmax, you know that the stoppie-2-grab at the stadium (6:54) rocks and you also know that you own those stunts.
Mr. AndersonÃ¢â‚¬Â¦ that bump-2-roof (7:19) near Sunshine AutosÃ¢â‚¬Â¦ lets just say my jaw is still on the floor since watching that.
BigheadÃ¢â‚¬Â¦krail-2-grind (4:33)Ã¢â‚¬Â¦ WOWÃ¢â‚¬Â¦ I know hooking the bike on was a bit sketchy but damn that was great.
KanÃ¢â‚¬Â¦ heheÃ¢â‚¬Â¦ Kan. That sanchez bump from the fountain to the billboard (7:28) was mind blowing. I know how many time you wanted to break your Joypad doing that.

SoÃ¢â‚¬Â¦ now that itÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s all said and done I must say that it has been a pleasure and an honor to stunt with you lads. You guys ROCK. :grin:

As i said d00d... it's been a pleasure and an honor.

This vid now shares first place as one of my favourite vids that i have been in... the other vid is 5ive if you are wondering.

It's just a shame that i could'nt match the quality of stunts that you guys put in. (blames my hiatus from stunting for that).

Kan and GTAF are still the 2 best out their...and Nightknight but hes not here so blah. The intro, even though i saw it before was perfectly filmed excellent job to Kan. The video itself was odd in places, urban and nitz had odd slow down. They always have but hey, other then that amazing job to both of you. 10/10

stunts:
The more the merrier (merry'r) is best way to put it. Amazing job to all you boys. Some amazing grinds and bigbangs which are always fun to see. great BSM and im glad you didnt do alot of them in all honesty. 10/10 with ease.

music:
VC music for the intro, classy. The main music was awesome, great tracks. The credits music for the SA theme was a hot touch well done with it also. (and i just remember, none of the stunts for reincarnation are in this vid :D) 10/10

overall:
One of the best videos to date, amazing editting, great stunts and stunters. Its ATS and TS, what else is needed to be said?

10/10 highest recomendation for this video.

shut my mouth and call me biatch. What a great job everyone did on this vid. Kans intro, Andy's editing, UL's idea to do this vid and of course all the stunts that everyone submitted. Fuckin sweet job dudes.

And of course thanks to everyone for the great replys. It's you guys who watch our vids that make the hours and sometimes hours of tryin to get a stunt all worth it :grin:

:saywhat: you probably dont know what some stunts are (crazy roofs by neo) cork to grind to cork..anyways i wont try to change your mind you have an oppinion and i respect that.

EDIT: After watching the vid a third time I know I was too harsh. I love Nitz's airgrabs (hell I love all airgrabs) some of the different BSM variations. I noticed Nitz hit a BSM on the other side of it. I was trying that the other day myself. Some of the editting seemed weird though. All of the fade things... I'm sorry. I was probably just jealous. Although not some of the best, this vid deserves atleast an 8/10. More Kaneda BSM'd a Freeway, and I thought that was cool. I think seeing so many people... There were certain folks I would've liked to see more of. All-in-all I think it could've worked out better, but it is far from being crap. I know I couldn't do 1/4 of the stunts here, so don't get me wrong. It might have been better if the two crews had stayed seperate. I love both of you as separate crews, but together it just didn't feel right, you know what I'm saying? Plus I haven't seen much from TS except this and two of Urban Legend's vids. Dunno too much about them.

And to answer an earlier Ghostchild question...the snapshots were just that...snapshots. The 'gofreeze' feature of DevConsole won't work in cut scenes...so they're just still shots.

I love both of you as separate crews, but together it just didn't feel right, you know what I'm saying? Plus I haven't seen much from TS except this and two of Urban Legend's vids. Dunno too much about them.

Stunts - amazing grinds, some awsome car and bike roofs, 5 my ideas were used - but only 2 not impressive grabs and 2 stoppie grabs and no taxi stunts at all - 9.7/10
music - dun like - 8/10
Editing - perfect - 11/10
Overall - 9.8/10

Oh yeah, and a couple pages back Calcos said he would have liked to see more from certain stunters. I told you all that only 3 stunters had ONE stunt left out. Big deal. There were 54 submitted and 51 were used because of the length of the song.

I don't know the reason,man - maybe the stunts could've been recorded more effectively - maybe cause of the song though it's an ok song - actually i can't explain it.
But not because of stunts/editing - it's perfect.

Let me just say that I'm glad that both ATS and TS are a part of the GTAStunting.com network, and I hope to see more vids like this weither they be cross-crew collabs, crew collabs, or solos. This is the level of stunting and editing that I like to see in stunt videos. The only cons i found about this video were that the constant flashes in synch with the song got a little annoying after a while, and the bumping off bikes onto buildings got really repetetive after a while. Of course, everybody's gonna have different views about this vid, so I'm not gonna stress on anymore cons, and I think it was a wonderful vid. I totally loved the intro, REALLY creative!
