This is a little release of the efforts of Tackleberry and myself in the fun and awesome game of skate. The name is Gravy because it is the little thing on top of the fun I have with this game that just makes it a little bit better, making a video and sharing it. I was tempted to call it "The Hawk's Funeral". Both of us have an approach to skate that involves trying to push the physics system as far as possible and therefore we end up with less than realistic footage, but hopefully it is no less impressive I recently spoke to TMS about making a skate video knowing that Bob and Kert played as well only to find out they had Magico in the works. They wanted to go ahead with their idea and that was awesome as I am sure some of you have seen. This is our half of the Twister Metal Skaters digression

I usually skate more realistic, since I skate alot in real life.

But next time I'm gonna play, I'll try some bonk stuff, and coffin under rail stuff..

It is only on Xbox 360 and PS3. This video was all done with the Xbox version. I have played the PS3 version and the fps seem to slow down alot, weird performance issues. Oh and version of the game is coming to the Wii as well but it is not in the same city but at different locations round the world, according to what I have read.

I skate alot in real life, but mainly just to get around without walking I guess I see this game as being more a system of rules to be pushed similar to GTA in some ways.

Yeah it was lots of fun and I like the result. Hopefully we can make some more and some point in the future. Possibly with some multiplayer stuff

Even thought it's probably the oposite of what Kert and I did in our vid, I did enjoy it a lot. Loved the coffin tricks, and Tackle his backflip lines.

Yeah, it's very unreal. It's just a matter of taste, just like kr3m I like pushing the limits instead of doing realistic stuff. Gravy and Magico really shows two different sides of the game.

On a side note, I've never played SKATE before so I don't know how easy it is etc, but some of the tricks in this vid felt too THPS'ish if you know what I mean. Anyways it's a cool vid and I enjoyed it

Of course getting your gamertag linked up to the skate reel is often the hardest part of the process given that EA are useless

i found 2 sites: skate reel (you can see videos but they have to be either on PC or on YT and so links) and the skate. site that when i try to register it doesn't work or anything.

An enjoyable video, thanks for sharing it. Keep up with the little technical tricks. It looks like you can pull some hot shit off in this game.
