Title: Why can't I run 2 GTA's at once?

yea why?  It works with other games but not GTA.. I want to switch from SA to VC and to LC or SAiVC whenever I feel like..

What do you mean? does it give you an error or something?


Edit: Oh I see, I tried opening one before the other, SA first then VC and then reversed the process, still no luck. I dont understand why they would be conflicting, for me, depending on what the second game I start is, it just stops mid loading bar and then when I Ctrl-Alt-Del it says not responding. right in the middle, for both games. Whatever the second game I load is wont get past half way on the loading bar. Thats very strange, it seems it should have a simple fix but I dont know.

Where's Neo? He may know.

Try renaming one of the .exes, might work :s

Not a bad idea, although wouldn't that mess certain things up? mods and such I.E LC Mod or anything that runs directly off of said exe.

The exact same thing happens to me. And no BK I renamed the vc.exe to wtfthisisnotgta.exe  still doesnt work

Make 2 different user accounts or something on you're windows. I did it for my server in SA-MP and leave 19+ accounts on it at the same time

Yeah and require a better PC to run them all on seperate account's rather than just 1. So I would like to know how to do this too. Go on Dannye, do something godlike >=D

I'm probably wrong (I don't even have VC anymore ) but isnt there a .dll file that both VC and SA use? Maybe it could be related to that.

Uhh thats not the issue, the specs are fine. Hell even my POS laptop can handle something like that.

I don't now, but I would guess its the audio card which is causing trouble. Try disabling your sound in bios then it might work
