Post by: VenomX on February 24, 2008, 05:32:25 PM: After nearly two years, I finally get around to making a solo. Stunted for this in the last couple of months, as well as dragging up some older reps, just basically had a lot of fun making this.

Hope you enjoy it, and a massive thanks to Of The Mountain for helping with everything, editing, rendering, uploading etc. as my PC isn't...that great.

The editing was good, just that I was lagging in some parts, for some reason. The intro was kind of slow but no worries, it was nice anyway.

The editing was great, very cool. I liked the selection of music too. The stunts just screamed creativity, lots of precisions. There was only one stunt that I can remember from the top of my head, that was much like stunts today... and it was awesome. Great video Alex, this is a keeper.

Rar will compress only 2 mbs, and that doesn't mean anything for users with slow connection if they want to see the video.
But if you put it into the rar, FileFront won't make the streaming. WHICH SUCKS MONKEYFUCK, BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE WANT TO STREAM IT.
And you don't have to upload it to YouTube then.

Just please, save our and your time, by not zipping the video to FileFront. It'so easy.

That was seriously something cool to see in the morning, because I've just woke up. Even if the entire thing lagged for me, I've enjoyed it.

Stunts:

Nice combination of presicions, grenade boosting and pcj stunts. If you could add some Car stunts, that thing would be more than just great video.
Anyway, the stunts were cool. Nothing really mind-blowing, but atleast I was entertained during the whole video. Great job.

Editing:

As I said before, the video lagged for me at some parts but it didn't ruin my impression in general. Some nice fresh and shiny color corrections, which you don't see everyday. I bet if the video didn't have them I wouldn't enjoy it that much.
Cool editing, some synching, some cool transitions and camera moves were well made. Great to watch.

Music:

I don't remember it right after the video. Seriously, I don't even remember what was in the chorus. So I guess the song was alright. lol

Overall:

Great solo. If there ware little bit better and mind shoking stunts, that would seriously be great. But that video was a cool to watch for me, and thank you for the show.

Although I am always rating videos as long as I do reviews.

Post by: Tackleberry on February 25, 2008, 12:19:22 AM: Since I like precisions, creative stunts and the pizzaboy, I had to like this video. And so I did, nice one. What I missed was a bit longer combos, including grinds and such. Good job though.

About the editing. It was ok, but the video was very laggy. At some places it was really annoying, like at that precision landing at the stadium. It would've been great to have this video in great quality and no lag, but I understand that might've been impossible and therefore there's not much to do about it.

Finally I'm glad I didn't lose any pizzaboy stunts.

The stadium precision was actually meant to be slow-mo after he hit the bump but the lag on it made it look pretty bad. Glad you all seemed to like the editing anyway though.

Cheers Brulla, I wanted this video to be very fast paced, hence the large amount of <10 seconds stunts, I promise there'll be more longer ones (and maybe even a grind : ) in my next video.

I loved your stuns, specially the precisions. And i need to admit that i couldn't even do half of them, ever. And the music, they perfectly fitted to the video. And about the editing, i gotta say, that this intro is the BEST one ive ever seen so far. Overall, with great stunts, awesome music and superb editing. The final stunt in main with the hotring was filmed poorly, though - bit disappointing. Your skin looks like someone's vomited all over it, probably fitting as the intro had a party element to it where the beer was most likely flowing like the 271st annual Yorkshire pissing-in-the-wind contest...you get the idea, your skin looks yucky

-Some really good find precisions and BSM
