60 is fine

doesn't matter what fps_max is set @

If it's fps_max 100 it wont make any difference cause fraps will lock it @ 60 while recording

I play with fps_max 100 and when I fraps @ 60fps it's fine

make sure you don't have something gay in fraps ticked like sync frames or w.e

oh and if you are recording @ 30fps and changing playback to 2.0 then it will just be 30fps at twice the speed... CSS doesn't work like VC and SA, 30 fps in CSS is just laggy... whereas 15fps in VC is just slower.

Fraps isnt the best program for recording in CS 1.6 . Use the console .

Copy the following lines in your console window :

bind "f9" "startmovie name 90" [ This will start recording ]
bind "f10" "endmovie"  [ This will stop recording ]

Press the F9 and you'll start recording and press F10 , when ur done .

Start up your Vegas and then choose Open . Find your cstrike map and you'll see a lot of pictures in .bmp format . Choose the first one and check the "Image Sequence" box . Now you got a video

No, actually it makes alot better quality and the size of the video is smaller . Every good CS movie maker does that method .
