so, if i want to make sweet videos with the video camera i'm getting soon i would need a fisheye lense to make it look like a Jackass movie or somethin.
problem: they're all over fucking $200!
isn't there a piece of glass i can stick over the top of the video camera's lense or something? homemade styles?

just use a fishs eye.. Simple.
-
Rofl, I think you can put a positive piece of glas on top of it. Just give it a try, might work
-
Depening on the type of camera your going to buy, you can get a fisheye ''snap on'' lense for about $50,- or something.. Like this one:

$50 is still too expensive for me, especially seeing how its a small curved piece of glass
-
How much are you willing to cough up?
-
I think you can do it in Vegas .

$0.
maybe $10 if i need to.
VenomX: thats just not the same man... ya know?
-
hmm well, I would recommend doing it in Vegas, and if thats not real enough use a pair of large reading glasses. works pretty good, you have to find the right pair though, some look weird.
-
A fisheye lens, or wide-angle lens expands your view of perspective, a silly effect in Sony Vegas doesn't.
-
^ precisely
might go grab the magnifying glass and put it in front of my webcam, see what happens
-
Fishes have retarded eyes.
-
that peephole that barney posted, looks so much better than most skater vids cause it didnt have he over laping lense edge o.o
-
or maybe the guy on that video zoomed in so you couldnt see the overlap.
think i might have to cruise down to Home Hardware and find meself a peephole
-
Oh, God, Haywire with a peephole >_>
