i havn't listened to music for several days, but now i want to, and it's suddenly ALL currupted? what the hell...
anyone know what would be going down?
EDIT: I found the problem. It only works with my headphones. Why dont my speakers work?

Does your computer display some kind of error or just silence? Try unplugging your speakers, clean off any excess dust or whatnot and plug 'em back in. Also make sure your Volume Control isn't on mute

Moved to computer section.

it says it cannot play the file; it turns orange on WMP, and wont play it
aries this is a music problem, move it back
-
Could it be that your speakers are old? Or they shorted out?
-
i dont think it's a hardware problem i think it's a software problem.
speakers are brand new, hardly used. it wouldn't say it couldn't play the file it wouldn't say anything, the speakers would just not work.

Is your PC compatible with your speakers?
-
If you have Vista, make sure your speakers are plugged into the right port or else Vista might disable your sound card until it detects something plugged into an output port.
