And is it possable to take out my current 140GB HD and put it into the new PC?

1.Intel E6400 2.13Ghz Core 2 Duo =189USD
2.Corsair XMS2 (2GB) =125USD
3.Geforce 8500GT (256MB DDR2) =90USD
4.Cooler Master Real Power 550W = 110USD
5.Thermaltake Armour VC3000BWS =120USD
6.P5N-E SLI (A recommended motherboard by fellow forumers) = 135USD
7.Benq FP94VW 19" LCD =200USD

Total price = 969USD

Sorry but I forgot to save the links.. A few searches on the names of the products on Google will give you all the info you need.. I didn't add in a HD because I'm assuming that you'll use your old one.. And also, despite the graphics card not having much memory, it cheap and it supports DX10 (If you have Vista).. So it's good for long term use.. Anyway, message me when you're online next time and we'll talk more..

I agree with all of those choices, EXCEPT for the graphics card. An 8500 GT is just shit.

For about 40 bucks more you could buy a 7950 GT, which is WAAAAAY better than an 8500 GT. Basically, you want to avoid all 8-series video cards except the 8800 GTS's, GTX's and Ultras. The other ones are shit. They are so shit that the 7 series predecessors are better lol

But maybe the HD series from ATi could be a little better for the same price? That too is DX10 compatible so you won't habve to upgrade for a few years..

DX10 is also shit lol... did you hear that Microsoft is planning just to cancel DirectX 10, and just take the good features from it, and use that to optimize DirectX 9?

Basically, it's like this:

XP Pro > Vista
DX9 > DX10

And Juan knows his shit too

Vista is not that expensive, its only 199 for the upgrade and 299 for the oem.
