First of all, a hardy congratualtions all around for the finalists and for everyone who participated in the GTASL3. It is/was a bigger success than I could have ever hoped for and I owe so many people my heartfelt thanks and appreciation.
The judges (Dannye, Ostits, WEREWOLF, Eddeman, Sweet, Boo): Thank you for doing your thing. As you've seen, it is not easy to be a judge but every one of you did your job with the utmost professionalism, dignity and class.
Torque: For his advice in running the league and for running the last league as well. It was his footsteps that I followed and it is because of him that things ran as smoothly as they could.
Aries/Xtramus: For keeping the forums together during some of our toughest times, and at the same time, making a great run in the league.
Dannye: For being my right-hand man from start to finish. The brackets, the challenges, the suggestions, for everything. I could not have done it without you, thank you man.
Ok, back to business:
Challenge 1: Perform the best bump involving a packer (NOT a p2b) on the first island of VC (the one you start on in the game).
Challenge 2: Perform the best taxi stunt NOT involving a wallclimb on Portland Island
Challenge 3: Perform the best 3 part combo. There must be 3 parts to the combo, choose from the following stunts: BSM/ISM/PSM, p2b, bump (bonk), grind, stoppie, wheelie, wallride, wallclimb, air/ground grabs. Acceptable combos include but are not limited to p2b2stoppie2grind, ISM2grind2airgrab, etc... This can be done in either VC or LC.
Please submit your reps and optional vids in this topic before the deadline. You have 10 days to submit your stunts. Good luck:

I just wanted to thank all of you who have participated, the other judges, it was fun working with you, and last, but not least, NoAp. You did a great job in making this league work, from my radio show to this day. Thank you for doing such a great job, I hope we sometime can have something as good as this run again.

I have no question about Torque has got his gift by voter judges who always said his name at votetime. Even they didnt watch the rep and the stunt just checked out the first comment of a judge and copied it or rephrased it a little. But thats my opinion. Anyway my fingers are crossed for Daffy and I hope that cdarmy wont open his gravity mod while stunting or he just need to make his bike back to original because to make a bike lighter and faster is cheating too.

At first i was trying to land on the building to the right of the tanks, then i landed up-side down on the roof i landed on later and found out i could do a multi boost of the tanks and get lots of air off the tanks.

I don't see roof coming in as part of the stunts you could choose from. Don't get me wrong that last stunt was sick but IMO and from what I can see from the rules, that last stunt was not a valid 3-part combo.

If you do a bump and land on the ground it was just a bump but if you bumped to a roof it's a bump2roof, why don't we just go around doing high bumps to nothing and call it stunts then?

My opinion...the rules are clearly stated in the opening post by NoAp. But since there's a bit of confusion here, let NoAp try and clarify when he gets to see this. I personally think Daffy didn't do a 3-part combo...but it was still a gorgeous stunt.

There's clearly three parts to this stunt, so NoAP can go ahead and be completely unbiased...it'll still work out for Daffy

Air: The first part...without this, there is no bump because no one's about to bump that thing and get where Daffy did without getting air first lol
Bonk: Self-Explanatory
Roof: It's a bump2roof...that 2 indicates separate components He could have landed in a flatbed, on the ground, on a rail, but he landed on a roof, making it a part of the combo.
Hopefully this will clear it up, unless I'm tragically mistaken...

Sorry Daf, but that third stunt does not fit the challenge. The stunts listed there are the only ones you could use in the combo. Things like "air" and "roof" do not. That was by design.
Personally, of all the challenges we've come up with, I like this one the most. It really pushes the stunter to come up with something great.
Remember that if you want to include a PSM you must include the set up of the PSM as well. You must show the 2 packers in the set up.
If I were you Daf i'd work on that stunt rather than plan my demise

Daffy, I strongly suggest you calm down before you write something you'll wish to hell you hadn't. Remember, I am a judge as well and we will not tolerate abuse. Consider this your only warning. Continue on this path and I will not hesistate to DQ you for the abuse you've shown thus far.

Threaten me all you want but put yourself in my position, that's like the best one of my 3 stunts which i busted my ass to nail.
It has 3 elements in my eyes which all needs to be there for the stunt to be possible and nothing besides that crossed my mind.
Then all these randoms came along and said it didn't have 3 parts but i expected you to know better as you've been stunting longer than them and would now all those 3 parts are vital to the stunt.
And then when i post a replacement which includes a ramp, a short wheelie, a bump off a rail, a 180 and a grind isn't good enough, then what is good enough for you?
I realize you've taken a lot of shit during the SL but this time i think my reason for giving you shit is more than good enough and it shouldn't be a surprise to you.
I'd really like to hear what the rest of the judges has to say about this as they have been with you giving their votes on everyone's stunts so they should also get to say something about this.

Holy shit Daffy...that was awesome. I honestly can't see a way around this one being a three parter. Even if it isn't, great job anyway, because those two may be two of the best stunts of the league.

Looking at that second one (the one Daffy upped for Docta) then I can see why it can be considered 3 parts. He does a wheelie - he then kinda bumps off the fence, before grinding it. Wheelie, bump and grind are all 3 parts.
Is it really a proper bump though? It's an odd one to look at. I'm glad I'm not a judge

The view I typically use when I watch stunts is to put the camera behind Tommy. From that angle I couldn't see through the bushes to see Daffy's wheelie. When I saw the clip, I saw the wheelie I missed and I incorrectly told Daffy the stunt was invalid. I was wrong. Daffy knows this so his submissions are ok.

The view I typically use when I watch stunts is to put the camera behind Tommy. From that angle I couldn't see through the bushes to see Daffy's wheelie. When I saw the clip, I saw the wheelie I missed and I incorrectly told Daffy the stunt was invalid. I was wrong. Daffy knows this so his submissions are ok.

Takes a big person to admit a mistake like that - and it was an easy mistake to make. I would've probably made same mistake. Daffy's remarks though were out of line - he should've dealt with the situation in a far more adult manner. Maybe Daffy assumed that because he has the no bush mod himself, NoAp would be able to see the wheelie easily...again, easy mistake to make.

The discussion of Daffy's first stunt is over. 4 of the 5 judges have weighed in and the concensus is that although it is a 3 part combo, one of the parts (the roof) were not in the "allowed" group. Therefore while it is a 3 part stunt, it does not meet the challenge.
Remember that discussion was for Daffy's first stunt, his second one is a-ok.

I have to say I am very irritated over this. The whole league could've gone to shit as long as we had an awesome and memorable final. Instead we get this; one stunter busts his ass to submit pure awesomeness and the other didn't seem like he could be bothered to even ask for an extension. I should give Demonfade a second (or third try) and give him a few days to give Daffy some competition but that wouldn't be fair to Daffy.

Here's my opinion:
The finals ending like this is totally weak, and there's only one person to blame (not me ). Daffy is the winner of the GTASL3 but I worry that without a challenger in the finals whether or not his champion status would be tarnished or questioned. I personally don't think so since he did go through hell and high water to get this far and his stunts in the finals were proof enough that he deserves to win the league.
I am not against a "Grudge Match" between Daffy and Torque (or Tackleberry since he also has a legitiment gripe) but Daffy's reign would not be challenged (unless he really wants that).
As for the WH vid, this WH member knows you are the backbone of the crew and you can take as long as you want to do the vid.
I'm going to go learn about Buoyancy and CAPE and when I come back i'd like to hear some of your opinions.

It could actually be a lot quicker if there was a league - not one giant league but a fair few mini-leagues. Sort of like the Champions League in Europe - a group of 4 random stunters, who face each other one at a time with a challenge. The winner (based on judges decision) would get the points. And the top one or two progress to the knock-out stages, depending on how many are competing.
I could just use a league tracker software I have to keep note of it. It worked when TMS did it ages ago, we had a bit of a trial run of sorts with 6 or 7 of us altogether. I wouldn't mind helping organise it. It would freshen up the GTASL I'd say. Maybe this is indeed the wrong topic for it - it went from the big final to the one-sided final to the nobody-may-win-final to the someone-did-win-against-nobody final to the we-might-have-a-final-anyway final...very confusing.

I had to delete a bunch of posts from this topic. There are those (they know who they are) who never said a thing throughout the entire league, then show up here and talk a ton of shit. I don't have the power to warn/ban but I think those that do need to punish the ones who keep breaking up the legit discussion in this topic.
I haven't heard from Cdarmy in quite a while. It would be one thing if he kept us informed about what he was up to, but I haven't heard anything from him, nor do I presume anyone else has. That worries me more than anything.
From now on, anyone wishing to post here will do so for one of these following reasons:
1) Congradulate Daffy
2) Give info about Cdarmy (like, where he is, etc...)
3) Bow down to me for being a fuckin awesome dude
Any post not pretaining to any of these topics will be deleted. I don't want to close this until I hear something from Cdarmy.

The judges (Dannye, Ostits, WEREWOLF, Eddeman, Sweet, Boo): Thank you for doing your thing. As you've seen, it is not easy to be a judge but every one of you did your job with the utmost professionalism, dignity and class.
Thanks for letting me be a part of the judging team NoAP. It has certainly been an interesting experience. It took me a while to decide whether or not I wanted to be a judge or a competitor (or nothing) in this league, and now that it is over I am happy with the choice I made.
Dannye: For being my right-hand man from start to finish. The brackets, the challenges, the suggestions, for everything. I could not have done it without you, thank you man.
I am glad I could help out. Boy it sure was a shitload of challenges we had to come up with wasn't it, haha.
You did amazing work NoAP, even with the numerous hurdles, you managed to keep this whole competition running smoothly and on track. I appreciate all the work you put in dude. From my stint as stand-in-overseer while you were away I got a glimpse at how much work that was.... Picking challenges, being sure to post matches on time, remind competitors about matches and deadlines, keeping topics on track, keeping the judges organised, getting the voting done, and ending the matches ... and all the other stuff that I probably forgot as well. Great job man.
And to our competitors, thanks for being a part of this community project, I hope you all had a bit of fun, as that is the most important thing.
To Daffy, our fearless winner, outstanding job dude, you really deserved to win this, not only were your stunts for this final challenge just plain awesome, all of your wins were, right from the beginnings in Region 3 Round 1, and all the way up to now. This is for you:
Great work to everyone involved, overseer, judges, alternate judges, competitors and followers, I know I have had fun. I also look forward to the possibility of another great wrap-up video. Now, who wants to take bets that the person who wins the next SL is the same person who beats Kingjad in the first round?

Well you said something about landing on just ground isn't a stunt then I said something like dude anything is a stunt I could go off a ramp with 0 degrees rotation and land on the street and still be a stunt. I forget the rest can't really be bothered to remember half of the bullshit I type.
