Post by: Tackleberry on May 25, 2007, 12:51:13 PM: I had some stunts which, for different reasons, wouldn't get in the main part of a TMS crew vid. Maybe they would do fine in an outro though, so I made one...

This is not a big solo, I never stunted "for it" and didn't spend much time on editing. Actually most of the stunts in it are quite easy to perform too, but that's not important. I like this vid for what it is and I had fun making all the stunts. Call it a leftovers vid or whatever, please just enjoy watching it as a whole and don't spend too much time on evaluating every single stunt.

Post by: ofthemountain on May 25, 2007, 01:33:47 PM: Nice, I liked how fast paced it was, each stunt was a mini chunk of goodness, which compensated for the lack of epicness as it was a long outro. Smoothly edited kept ideas fresh so it was impossible to get bored. Well done!

I see you used a ZeroX rant section like i did made me laugh, rounds off an outro well.

Seen it now. I really enjoyed it and I think it has a good vibe to it. Yeah..uhh there's nothing more I can say, music+stunts+editing just had an overall nice happy feeling to it and fitted all together. Rock on!

I liked the fact you cut down the amount of effects in this, there still was a few standing out but yeah, I did like it.

I have one problem though; I think the editing is well done as usual, but I feel that the video lacked a theme of editing unlike your other videos. I'm not sure what I'm trying to say so I doubt you will lol.

It has a whole bunch of files in it and what i've looked at is just 10 second clips of different sounds. There are literaly hundreds of files from a to z. One was like a sqweaky tire, another sounded like a whale wth is this?

Yea , happened to me once , too . You just dload the wrong files from Filefront lol

Before i watched the video, i knew that it would be better than oter guys solo, even when it wasn't your best stunts. There was some really nice combos, but i really liked your doublecrail bumped from the boat, and your pizzaboy bump to 3xstoppie to rail.
Nice video mate, surely better than most guys "serious" video.

These vids that are taken lightly when making them often turn out to be pretty damn enjoyable, maybe we should all take it a bit easier when at least editing the vids hehe

I liked the laid-back feel to it, that made it fun to watch. Sure the rolling text was a bit distracting, but I am glad it was there, because the 'outro-ness' was the point of the video. Some of my favourite parts were:

The wheelie across the ledge part of the first combo.
The wallie kiss at the end of your pizza boy combo.
The wash effect on the LC ramp to bonk off rail, to hanger roof, and I liked the stunt itself of course.
Going through the hole in the rail.
All of the long combos in general.
The bump to wallie kiss to wallie kiss to roof.
The fact that your sanchez step grind didn't end at the bottom - that you pulled off a nice circular stoppie as well.
The editing on your LC wall bump to wallie kiss onto and over the ledge.
That sweet LC roof gap, prefect little flip across one side to the other.
And lastly the amazing pizza boy combo to finish it off.

But seriously, I liked all the stunts, they all went together well, with the cool editing and music, and fit perfectly in this outro context.
