Title: Xbox 360 Keyboard Controller
Post by: kr3mlin on April 09, 2007, 11:52:19 PM
Hey folks,

Im just curious, I just read about this new announcement regarding the keyboard controller for the 360. For those who will be getting IV on a 360, will this be an option for you stunting. I guess this would only apply to keyboard stunters but I personally think I will make this a key purchase, hopefully getting a mouse too to play some console fps games with that

What are your thoughts?

I thought it was gonna be good, until I saw the pictures. That keyboard is so tiny, I can't see how you could use it to play games. O_o

It would be nice for messeging, though.

uh why not using the usb?

It works fine for typing in most games and there are software filters to change input to controller simulation (i think)

//Edit: If not, ill do

I'd only use it for messaging, way too small to stunt with.

Yeah, I thoght it was going to be a full-sized keyboard you usually have to the pc, but no.  This one is good for messaging though, as finallight said.

The 360 really should be built with 2 PS/2 slots and some USBs.

This just furthers my point that consoles are just turning into computers. Sooner or later there wont be a difference.

Sooner or later? How about now? The PS3 pretty much is a computer..from what i've heard.

If they were smart, they'd just build a smaller version of a regular keyboard and have it so it connects into the 360.

There ARE keybaords that work with the 360 and Mice, just regular USB keyboard + Mice you plug into one of the 3 USB slots the 360 has...

And I bet a USB keyboard and mouse will be cheaper than this add on.

For more info about Microsoft's Spring update read the article @ GameSpot (http://uk.gamespot.com/news/6168769.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=newstop&tag=newstop;title;6)

I spent a while reading the comments  very mixed, some people are saying it's cool and others are saying it's a rip off...there's like a million comments
