Hey, i just tried a tutorial, and here's the result:

Nice, simple and generally ver good, GJ. It's good to keep things simple.

Why would you save it as .gif? That's like the worst possible choice ever if it's not an animation, go with .png or the highest quality settings of .jpg but not .gif. To get a good reflection: lower the opacity on what you already have and then Rasterize the upside down Text layer (Right click on layer - Rasterize...) and take a 100px soft round brush and erase it off the bottom, fiddle with the opacity to get a good reflection going on there.
