Post by: Dannye on November 25, 2006, 02:28:51 AM: Okay, so you've just noticed a new topic in the ATS video section, let me first give you a chance to calm down and perhaps change your pants, because this ain't what you were hoping for. And now that you're in a good mood...

Have you ever thought what you would do if you were on a hotel roof? What if for some reason you couldnt touch the road? And what if you desperately wanted an ice-cream...? (Questions we all ponder from time to time) Well, you'd have to take the 'Scenic Route':

This is a Vice City Grenade Boosting Solo by me. Big shoutouts to all those guys who managed to somehow get me hooked on this type of stunting (check the credits), especially X for showing off the VC possibilites.

Don't expect the best video ever or anything, this was just a fun little side-project for me that I enjoyed working on, and hopefully you will enjoy watching.

I loved the creative use of vehicles, though it was a bit too much at some times Some very nice boosts, like the water gap thingey. A very very solid performance once again Song was very nice btw.

@Sab: Thats gotta suck. About the song choice, yeah, I ended up chosing it because it had a really fast beat, and it seemed to go well with it.

@X: Thanks, I appreciate the tips. Yeah I probably did go a bit silly with the vehicles at some times . There were a couple spots where I was gonna try the Skimmer idea you used in your vids but I couldnt figure out how to do it (I guess I am just dumb, lol).

Update: LQ is uploaded, I will edit that into the first post. Oh and for anyone curious, I used 24 replays. I tried to link as many stunts together in each one as possible, but ofcourse there were some that were just so hard/long they got reps by themselves. It came in at 9min total... I sped it up 'just a bit'

EDIT: Loved the video, the music pwned, and your route was long as hell. The only thing which starts to bug me a bit with some VC le parkour vids, is that when people use nades on some jumps which are possible to do naturally, but they are a bit tough (almost every video has had this kind of stuff), but its not a big deal, I just get really bugged about it personally . But I truly loved the vid, awesome work man.

You made it so enjoyable to watch. I kinda feel the same about the vehicles, but nevertheless it's so amazing all the way through.
I never watched alot of GB-vids but I'll make sure to dl some after this. It clearly shows homuch fun you had making it.

I have to agree with Brulla on the point he mentioned, and also, Brulla should have MUCH more creds for the VC-GB than he has. I was just the one who discovered and brought it to GTAS, although Brulla had known about GBing in VC for a long time before I found it, and thereby had the time to discover most of the techniques used in VC-GB today
