Tackleberry gets my vote.

His banner represents everything I would like to see in a graphical banner: flow, style, good logo, brilliant text placement and sparkle like fairy dust.

i vote for Tackleberry's just because it looks hot ( the sig and the chick  ).

The text really suits the banner and i think the effects around the render is brilliant.

My vote: Tackleberry

Tack's banner looks very smooth, and the lighting is just awesome.

Qouad's uses a simple grunge brushing with a pixel stretch...the text isn't all that brilliant and the render clashes with the background.

Thats true.
But reading tutorials gives possibility to learn new ways. Don't want a tutorial on that exact thing just on how to get that effect kinda.
