Post by: kr3mlin on September 19, 2006, 10:30:52 AM: Well here it is....Concept. It includes things that are new ways to do old style stunts and some new approaches to stunting altogether. I am really glad to have had a good bunch of stunters submit for this video, and the enthusiasm of you guys was also very heartening. I hope you enjoy this video and take it for what it is as an experiment, some stunts will look good and some will be confusing. Always remember if it is a stunt for you then that is all that matters. I edited this simply for the main part, I wanted there to be alot of focus on the on screen action without fx, cos things dont always go as expected in this video. As for the editing....everything you see is intentional....I wanted to screw with expectations a bit. Also a special congratulations to Corevil as he is premiering his Portable Object Bump method in this video.

The rest of the video was really interesting though, some interesting new ideas and was of stunting, and I was really surprised to see Niskit in this video.

I would definitely like to see more of these videos.

here a little note for the POB method:

As TurtleDick saids somewhere in the forum, this is essentially just another thing where to bump with the MTB.

Anyway in order to land on a high roof you'll need a good runup, but if you go just a bit far away from the object it will disappears... this means no high roofs then no pwnage

However i've found a way to exceed this obstacle.
Simply starting the runup where the hidrant is situated...
i mean: if you find an hydrant dont watch for a roof in the environs, watch forward for a near (not so much far) spot.

Ok, thats all, if you have not enouth runup you can increase your speed using the early WHEELIE METHOD (http://www.gtastunting.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15181) this way you'll able to land everywhere

Corevil (the fire hydrant bump stuff you came up with was also EXTREMELY creative!

I loved your LS bridge loop stunt kert and explosion's BSM was awesome.

intro and editing: Not your best intro job though, the way intro songs stops suddenly was a bit weird. I did not loved the fonts you chosed.
Anyway looking at the concept ideas the vid it turned out how it should.

Music: both the two songs was very nice.

Stunts:
1. cool BSM, nice way to start the stunting part!
2. not so impressive bike stunt. kinda useless!
3. very odd stunt... i like oddness
4. so called backflip backward stoppie... it was just a way to show other POB potentialities.
5. i think this golf-caddy stunt has a lot potential! very cool find!
6. nice trick, definitely interesting.
7. wow that was an ice-cream to watch!!!
8. maybe i'll like it when i'll able to put the packer in that way! anyway GJ.
9. wow dudes! its a shame you did not landed that roof.
10. first catapulting of the video... amazing!
11. another kick-ass catapulting!

@Snake G: why cant that be stunting? You are getting a vehicle somewhere it couldnt on its own, this video was about new ideas of what stunting could be...why should we limit what stunt can be?

The intro to this! Whered you find that music? Its perfect, and its so non mainstream...where on Earth do you find something like that:P
After the intro...The movie. What do I hear playing? None other than Ten Speed by Coheed and Cambria. My favourite of all bands, ever. But then, Impakt wasnt involved? He loves the album that songs from...So much so its in his DP! With the big red 'IV'. Ya know?
Anyway, came here because the song excited me. The thread isnt too old, so I'll leave my mark.
Although, I am only at the 47 second mark.
*sings along* Ten speed if I must, then I must!

Whats with that grenade boost with the BMX? I tried that the other day, I didnt get any height at all. Ah...perhaps its all about getting on the bike at the last second.

Well, as you can tell by my excited post, I really enjoyed that. Whats more, the stunts were good too. Although it seems many of them can only be done with cheats/mods? Like that massive satchel boost? Its just too big!
