So here it is, finally... after 4 months of stunting for this movie i'm finally done.
This is my last solo, at least for a very long while so don't ask me to participate in anything after this please.
The movie was recorded in 1280x720 and the HQ is in the same res, rendered with the Xvid video and LAME audio codec.
I was so lucky to get a guest stunt from Tackleberry as well, his first VC/LC stunt in a long long time.
Please comment and rate it when you've seen it and i'd be very happy if someone took the time to write a review as i love reading thoose.
The editing has kinda the same style as "A Call From The Other Side", i kinda enjoyed that style so i thought i should try to build more upon that which i think i managed pretty well.

Daff, I lost all respect for you. You knew i had landed that 150 bump in LC, but you still went ahead and landed knowing that i was gonna use it in a vid. You did it to Pleth and now you have done it to me. Your shit and you know it. Theres no fucking excuse for something like that.

Oh hell no...Juans stunt...give us the replay with the date...and prove us wrong. Otherwise you cant blame people for saying you stole it. And BS like "i cant be bothered" is a f ing joke. It was a sweet vid, nice stunts. Editing was cool, song aswell. As TD said, perfect solo, last stunt ruined it, atleast for TMS people.

Juan big deal, you use RADs method and can get that stunt with ease.

A normal PCJ keyboard lean foward tapping stunter would almost take a miracle to land, isn't that right WEREWOLF.

yeah, i understood that, same was with my bump to pink building, i did it before Nitz and he knew it, and he still did it and used in a vid before me. i was a bit angry, but it was more like my fault i couldn't be the first to use it in a vid. so i didn't care really.

I'm sorry for Juan, but dude, you can still use your stunt and everybody will know that you landed it before Daffy or anyway... it will look like new in any case. That's an pwnage stunt and you landed it, so.. :=)

Like i've told everyone who've asked so far, i'm not giving out a rep of a stunt like this, especially not this soon.
I have a txt file that proves me telling BK that i had done it shorty after he told me Juan had done it against empty accusations from Juan and TMS.
The reason why i don't want to post the rep is because i don't want to know who did it first, i and hopefully you know that i did do it before Brainkiller told me Juan had done it and that's all i care about.
I can post the text if Brainkiller won't mind.
Now would you please shut the fuck up about stuntstealing and please focus on the vid?

This video kicked ass. I don't care what everyone else says. I feel sorry that some of you can't enjoy such an awesome video. The stunts were awesome. Beautiful BB stunts all over the place. Actually, I had the idea for most of the BBs. Awesome job doing those. That big jump to that one BB was beautiful.

What else, how about that fucking huge bump at the stadium? I know a shitload of people have been trying that one, including myself. What an awesome stunt. There were a few awesome grinds in there too, a couple that I was glad to see completed all the way. Also, kickass AG to impact AG. That looked plain sweet.

The last bump was the best thing of all. Haha, I know Juan did it too. I've already told him my comment about it. It's like the greatest bump I've ever seen. Not much else to say about it. Except maybe that RAD's method is cheap and I won't ever use it. That's right, I don't need some weird speed boost to do my stunts. This stunt was damn impressive either way.

Editing was as good as always. If I had to say anything negative about it, it would have to be the way you zoomed out most of the time. I barely got to see the new bike you're using. I'd like a couple of close ups next time. Music was fine and everything, no problem with that. Last song was cool too hah. Pleasure to watch this video, dude. Seriously, to me, it's pretty close to TOAS. Good job.

That was a mindfuck in the best way    I've always respected your clean editing and tightness but never enjoyed them that much, but this vid was refreshing in everyway and it had your distinct mark on it (mainly super crisp quality   ) The stunts were great, i was waiting to see all the bb's you had done, ( you mentioned you had a few), the bump at the stadium, holy shit, i knew it was poss, and have come close but gj on nailing that and putting that idea to bed. Anyways, one of my top fave vids man, and i hope its not truley ur last.

I love this vid.

First of all, I'm feel really honoured, that you actually asked me to be a guest in this vid. You had never seen me in VC (cause I hadn't really stunted in it before), but still you wanted me to be in it. I'm really glad for this and I don't really know how to thank you. My stunt is the worst in the vid, but that doesn't matter to me. Only that you invited me means much more. I will probably try to continue with VC stunting, so you're the reason why I started. Thanks.

More about the vid then. I really love it. The stunts were amazing, and the editing amazing as always. This vid will be great source for inspiration for me. Actually this is probably the best vid I've seen. Maybe there are vids with better stunts, but the whole theme with stunts and editing in this one is just amazing.

Great job Daffy, you really showed that you are one of a kind.

It was certainly an enjoyable video to watch.

Regardless of the controversy covering the final main stunt, nobody in TMS can truthfully say the video sucked. It was a very good piece of work, the usual seizure-causing flashes were there a couple of times once more but it was still good work.

I dunno why Daffy won't hand over the rep - but bitching about it won't change anything. It'd probably end this madness, or just fuel TMS' newly-found hatred they now have of Daffy.  But it should be kept to msn and PMs only, ok guys?

One final thing: We can't get rid of you that easily Daff.  Sadly, you'll be back.

I've thought about this vid and I think it goes with Aetas for the two best GTA stunting vids ever done, imo of course. And both have been done by Daffy, what a coincidence  But everybody here can see how much effort he puts in his vids.. so I think it's well deserved.

I feel like I walked into a hornets nest    man, who did what to who and before whom? I'll put my 2 cents into that after the review.  

   did I say    Jesus man that was mind blowing. I loved the intro and the music for the intro so much I wish it had lasted longer.   Wait a minute, gotta pick my jaw up off the floor, again. The stunts   lol, shit I can't find the words. Truely awesome, fantastic, holy shitters. So many jaw droppers in one vid. The editing was Daf-fy quality all the way, awesome. 12/10, just perfect.





As far as anyone "stealing" stunts, I just don't know. Regardless if Torque thinks it's "gay" that someone commented on this being worse than modding, well IMO if anyone DID out right do this, I would also consider that act to be extremely low.

I couldn't help but read the damn posts  anyway, all you fools... when me and juan posted the 190ft+PB screens, that was using a secret method  and it isn't acutally modding, and the way you can tell is the replays save REALLY, REALLY, REALLY slowly... even slower than slow mo cheat. I'd tell you how you do those perfect RAD's but I think it will have too much of impact on stunting, could ruin stunting. Bloodyhook, what you just said was a load of shit  doing a normal RAD under normal circumstances doesn't give you dumbass weird speed boosts at all... crazy RAD method = 190ft+, normal RAD=pretty much what you can acheive without a RAD.

And as for Torque who is basically saying doing RAD's is unfair because it's easier for people that use gamepads, that's pretty much shit aswell  what makes it any different? we pull a wheelie and lean forward, you can pull wheelies and lean forward with a keyboard right?  if you're saying RAD's are unfair because it's easier for people who use gamepads then that means leaning forward with a gamepad to gain speed normally is unfair

Damn you man, I was scouting that Shoreside Vale BB and was gonna try your drop   It looked pretty kick ass I must say.  As for the rest of the video, it all rocked.  The editing wasn't so...AAAHHHHHBBBLLAAAAHHHFLASHFLASHSEIZUREAAAHHHHHHHHH, I quite enjoyed it.  The music was really cool.  Great video dude, it's my favorite of yours, hands down.

As a friend/fan of Daff for some time I told him I would write a full review of his video so I find it once again on me to put my spin on this video.

Other Info: As this is Daffy's last solo he wished for this video to be a true test of his stunting skills. Implying in the thread title the video has no stunts that could be considered as "filler"

Editing: Daffy has always had a flare for editing, everything from his videos to our many community projects Daffy has never dissappointed nor gone back to old concepts with his editing. Fresh and new is the best way to describe the way Daffy took this video to its limits. Every stunt feels like its moving along side of the music even the intro had a cinematic feel to it that draws you in. The ending of the video leads off with the title of the video which made it feel more like a trailer, in the respect that... I wanted more when it was over and done with.

Stunts: Talk is cheap, this is a video that fully delievers everything it promises. Post Mortem is full of some of the most impressive stunts, even as easy as some of them may seem to the eye. Daffy nails each stunt with such force that even the backing track jolts with each impact of bike to earth. Watching the video I could feel this... strange force that I haven't felt since, a DA video oddly. The stunts had this flare and style to them that just said "Fuck you" that works hand in hand with the "no fillers" to truly make this video a spectacle to behold.

Music: As strange a selection as Daffy may or may not have had, this video stands out in how it was combined. Music and video working hand in hand to fully bring the viewer into the video. Something rare in videos these days. Daffy takes what he is given and runs with it, all the way to the bitter end.

OVERALL: Being Daffy's fairwell video (at least for the time being) I must say he does it with a rockstar flare, in that, he goes out with a bang and not a whimper. Post Mortem may be the video to beat in the next chapter of the GTAS Forum Awards, as this is one of the best things to hit the stunting world in a good while. With a raised fist held high, giving credit to another stunter. Post Mortem gets all of:

This was great Daffy, really good job. The stunts were all top notch, ones I would never have been able to do or even come up with, I liked all of them. Hard to say which ones were my favs cause they were all great, but the one thats in my head the most (after just finished watching it for the first time) is that VC construction site to bridge grind, but as I said, all were tops. And the editing... wow, great again from the Daffmiester, solid editing throughout, and I really loved that bit just before the main with all the clips with the blueness, that looked really cool. And once again, the video quality of your vid looked better than my uncompressed fraps clips, lol. Nice work man, you really went out with a bang. I hope to see more in the future sometime.

Intro: Really well thought out but simple too (who's the assasin?   im gonnna kick his ass)  

Stunts:
1:01 - Really cool grind from boat to boat, Stopping on the grind would have been a bitch.
1:13 - an "ok" p2b, low, maybe a bit far.
1:21 - hehe cool stunt, I dont know if you were going for that back flip thing, but it worked out nice.
1:29 - Nice BB landing, I can't help but think you used the no bushes mod, IMO that mod is gay (sorry X)
1:35 - Nice job Tacky....old (I dont blame ya since you stunt SA)...but nice to see anyways.
1:50 - oooooo all the way through.....cool as hell  
2:09 - WTF  ...such a small ledge to bump, nice job
2:18 - Nice cork to grind *calls the coast guard* "There is a stunter drowning again"
2:24 - I tried that BB once, I couldn't help but stop trying it because of my gay LC...nice job on it.
2:31 - nice nice

Offtopic: About the Juan stunt deal thingy. Here is how I look at this situation.
When someone shows you a completed stunt and you already have been trying, you still have the right to complete the stunt because you found the stunt. It doesn't matter if the other stunter is gonna cry about it. If you honestly found the stunt you can use it if you get to nail it. Juan's stunt I had found ages ago, I just didnt know it was possible. Just like I did to WW and the pink roof landing in Mut8tion, I found it (he already had done it, I could care less). So stop being a baby and deal with it.

If you found w/e stunts then go for it, I'm an honest guy and I never say "ive been trying that!" unless I really was. I've been showen stunts for example by neo and I happen to do the stunt I would always ask if I could use it, if neo were to say no (to a ring landing stunt I did) i would have never used it. Well im dling but on this juan thing...
I got pissed like this when someone stole a spot i did but did it worse, in the last ISC Video, collibri did a nrg wallride near LS hospital (this is SA) and people said it pwned, but i had already done that stunt on a mtb in Empty Hopes and it 'sucked' So i guess you just have to move on
EDIT- Amazing video, but the last stunt ruined it imo , still that aside i loved it, and tac is quite good for how long he stunted in VC

Maybe it's old, but I don't think so. Anyway, that's my first real "stunt" in VC, so I'm happy with it even if it's old or not. Though it is like I said, I'm much more glad that Daffy actually put it in the vid.

Oh btw, didn't Serenity said we should stop talking about the last stunt? Obviously what you're doing don't solve a shit, so keep this thread about the vid. I feel sorry for Juan too, but it doesn't help to spam this thread with posts about it...

that was a really nice vid daffy. the stunts were sweet, that ramp to roof near the freeway where u start the game was quality. the editing was shit hot, really good stuff man.Im gonna have to try the xvid and lame for my next vid. the music was all good and fitted well. nice vid

soundtrac is definitely in the top 3 best songs ever used in a stuntvid

i liked most stunts even if i didnt find all of them great the last stunt was FUCKING AMAZING, regardless of all the controvercy i loved how fuckin high  it was, and add the rotation ! the editing was very good also, either my 2 ghz system was lagging or there were a few off-syncs here and there, i think its the 1st option though

in conclusion really nice video made 10x better by awsome music!

Yeah I wouldnt like that song too much if it wasnt with a vid... but the way Daffy put it and with a bit of timing.. it comes out perfect. Oh btw nobody said aw fuckin cool was that part of the intro done with After Effects. I really liked that and I'll try to watch EVERY stunt of it  I wish I could do something with adobe AE :]

The videowall is actually a very easy effect to create.
I created a project in Vegas with very huge dimensions and added a 1px border to all of the clips.
Then i rendered it out in 1600x1200 format with the losless Huffyuv codec and imported it into Adobe After Effects.
There i put the videowall clip in a layer and added the "Trapcode Shine" effect and select the preset "electric".
Then i pressed "3D Layer" and created a camera layer above the videowall.
I choosed a custom view so i could see it from the side and move the camera around.
All that was left was to create a few keyframes so the camera would move up the videowall render it again with the losless Huffyuv codec and import it to Vegas.

you've always seemed to amaze me Daffy, ive watched you go from the bottom and up to the top, you've become probably the best stunter in grand theft auto there is. the video was amazing, well picked songs for it, and the editing was fabolous, but the resolution was a bit bit, but if you play it with videolan it goes smooth, ive always liked you and looked up to you Daffy, you're a great guy.

While definitely a great video I actually enjoyed Blackout2 more.

Standout stunts for me where all those signs, Omni/Sam's krail grind finally being finished, and obviously the epic final roof... the one Kan did modded in Defiance cause it looks impossible...

No I'm not using time indexes to waste my time.

Stunts - 10/10 Absolutely ownage lol.

1. The height and distance of the grind probably isn't that hard to achieve. Nice and creative grind though.

2. Lol, nice packer 2 bonk. Pretty far and nice small roof you have landed in.

3. First I was like omg old and then I was like LOL and nice one and stuff like that. Nice backflip, I dunno what to say about a unique stunt.

4. haha, the packerbump is pretty amazing and creative, and the runup must have been pretty hard because of the bushes. Nice high bump, and to a billboard too  

5. Lol tackleberry thats good if it was your first VC stunt. Really good lol.

6. You biatch I was trying that since I saw Omni's The End. Amazing grind, really amazing since you didn't get stuck like me, Samurai, Omni and other people who have tried the grind. Real smooth Daffy, REAL smooth.

7. lol a small bump to bump off. Nice location, and nice that you haven't used the fixed building collision files. It would have been alot easier if you did.

8. Amazing  A great corkscrew off a non inclined packer to a grind at the same level. Must have requied alot of speed to get the height of the rail. Resulting that you landed in the water, lol.

9. Omg shit, the height was really amazing and it was also from a tree. I love tree packerbumps. No not at ocean beach. In LC. Amazing angle, but the camera angles didn't make the stunt look that good.

10. lol doublegrab. Sweet has done one though, when I saw his, his looked better. Sorry, but the bounce of the grab was great, lol, like in the one you did in Determined.

11. I hate trying packerbumps facing north. I got this idea once, but I quit it because I didn't like small packerbumps. But this shit was really amazing. The tree was small which results in like a smaller height but you managed to bump it at such an angle that you have gained lots of height and distance to the billboard.

12. I and Demonfade was trying that  Nice one though, must have been a bitch to bump because I ahte the stunt.

13. I don't do editing main.scms in LC. No comment.

14. OMG  That grind was amazing, I was trying that and once I was Hybrid I was like OMFG Æ and then I saw this video and then I was like HOLY FUCKING SHIT and I went to try it only to find out I couldn't even get enough distance. It was amazing, the impact must have been a bitch and I liked the way you stopped near the end of the grind and grinded the rest of the grind and didn't bail it, that shit was amazing.

15. Lol finallight did that in Theory. But he slid off the ledge 4 feet before the end. Edge grinds are hard, but yet you managed to make it look so smooth that it looked easy.

16. Amazing distance.. You must be like the person who has the most fucking billboard stunts in LC.

17. Lol you biatch I was thinking of that stunt but I thought it was impossible. Nice stunt, you managed to prove me wrong. And the angle was amazing too, AMAZING.

18. I rather not rate this stunt. Aries scared me

Music - 10/10 Good choice of music, but the credits song was a poor choice imo lol.

Editing 9/10 Shit my eyes hurt lol. I enjoyed it while it lasted, but the camera was too far from the stunts. I don't like that lol.

Intro - 10/10 lol I like the wall and camhack crap.

Overall - around 9.75-10/10 Who the fuck wouldn't keep this video lol. Keeper, for sure.

1) Intro
First part was ok, nice scenes, but i really liked that "video wall"

2) Stunts
01:01 - cool grind, not sure how hard was getting the air and landing the grind
01:13 - nice distance, good p2b
01:21 - i think such stunts are better in the credits
01:29 - great p2b2bb, haven't thought of that way for some reasons
01:35 - old stunt, but it doesn't mean that it's easy, so good job on it
01:49 - that grind finally done with a doublekrail, fuck yeah
02:09 - i'm not a big fan of re-doing bumps done with support vehicles without them, but this one was probably hard, good one
02:17 - amazing grind, great!
02:24 - another very good BB landing
02:31 - probably the best-looking doublegrab, that was cool
02:40 - congrats on landing that BB! that was sweet...
02:46 - oh yeah, pwnage
02:54 - pretty high roof, however you got too much air making the stunt looking a bit boring
03:13 - great grind, nothing more to add
03:29 - very stylish grind, thank LC team
03:40 - i have no idea how did you get that distance, but it was a cool air
03:48 - nice p2b, not your best
03:53 - fantastic stunt, i guess almost every stunter was trying it, however i feel a bit sad for spending a lot of time trying it without RAD method

3) Editing
Very good as always.

4) Music
I liked the main track, it wasn't the best one, but it surely was on of those that add extra points for the vid.

5) Overall
Great solo, i hope it won't be your last

Stunts:
1.01   â€“ great precise  grind
1.13 - ooh – that was far – I had that idea – never tried though
1.22 – after that was done to the rails - to the top  â€“ I don’t get the purpose of this one
1.29 – nice one – the easiest way of jumpin to this BB though – gj
1.35 – I guess that was done – cool stunt anyway
1.50 – Awesome work on doing that one to the end
2.10 – cool bump – nice landing
2.18 – awesome far cork2grind – too bad you went to swim after it lol
2.24 – beautiful  p2b to BB – more showy than the first one
2.31 – heh  very nice ag combo
2.40 – eh – ffuck – I’ve been trying it for three days ( long ago ) but overflew like 30 times –
And now I get that long run up was a mistake L Amazing job – very precise landing
2.46 – oooh – I guess that was very tough
2.55 – great climb – though I don’t like when the height is more than needed to reach the roof
3.13 – that was simply unbelievable – my eyes became more wide while watching this grind
3.29 – nice cork2grind – the landing over the police car was sorta a joke ?
3.40 – bitch – I thought that was not possible and haven’t tried – great work
3.48 – good p2b nice landing’
3.53 – that one could be classified as one of the biggest jawdroppers ever – brilliant stunt.
I guess almost nobody dreamed that possible.

overall – one of my rare 10/10 for stunts.

Music – the soundtrack was good – intro and credits – the main song was not a very outstanding one – it’s so-so imo – so 8.5/10 for the music.

Editing – good job as always – but not very awesome – maybe cause the song had not so big editing potential – 9.5/10

Recording – could be even more showy – but practically none of the stunts looked boring as it used to be in some of your previous works – congrats with the progress – 9/10


Overall – awesome farewell what to say more – 9.6/10
