Maybe your computer can't handle this graphics card.
...I've had the graphics card for a couple months never had problems before, besides it's not like an awsomely great graphics card, Nvidia Geforce4 MX 4000, 128MB

First off Halo is an awsome game.
Secondly, what version are the graphic drivers on your card. Sometimes newer drivers can cause trouble for older cards. I suggest installing the drivers that came with the card. Also try to clean the dust from inside the computer. Dust can be blocking the cooling process therefore making your card run below par. Another thing you can try is defragmenting your HD and uninstalling programs that arent needed.

its seriously not dust, please donot talk about it in this thread again, trust me;)
first off. you donot meet halo's minimum system requirements
it says you need DirectX 9 and the GeForce 4 only supports upto 8
your lucky the game is even running.
not much you can do besides buying a new card
you can get a 6200 for 50 bucks now
THIS may not be the problem but most likely is
