Title: Moo Mapper Problems
Post by: Serenity on August 18, 2006, 03:48:41 PM
Ok I got big problems with moomapper, it loads up fine, and then I get 0.28 FPS...I mean....I know sometimes it can be slow but this is just..........dead.

Any reasons why people? I cant even move around the map without having to wait 20 seconds for it to respond, which means no precise moving of objects.

Try to open only one street. Like Downtown area. Don't load the whole map, it lags for me too if I load the whole map. Not to mention SA.

EDIT: Oh. Now I see. You don't open the whole map

Try to close all other programs you're using. Those programs that takes a lot of Memory Usage. (Ctrl-Alt-Delete)

Try updating your video card drivers, and get the latest version of direct x. That could help.

I dont understand what people mean about my graphics card. I can play SA with high settings fine, I can play some good quality games like FEAR smootlhly with settings on normal. I just do not understand why I cant use moo........it's been able to work before on this graphics card.

Update your graphic driver. That might work.

no , not the card itself, but it may be a driver issue causeing troubles

for example, i can play F.E.A.R in maximum settings , same with HL2 e1 and all
but i cant play BF2 in like full, i know its my card at fault too

i hope they fix my issue soon, i dont like 25 FPS on full GRR

What level of detail do you try to run it at when you start it up?
In the control panel do you have any of the boxes checked (next to the FPS thing)
What MODE do you have it set to?
Also you could check to see what else you might have running (in the background that is) that might be drawing on your memory.
And lastly, like Nitz said, MOO is friggin possesed. It fucked up my VC just last week and I had to install it again
