Post by: Neo Anderson on August 05, 2006, 03:58:51 PM: This vid was done using "newer" collison files for Liberty City that were released by the LC Mod Team. What does that mean? They fixed the damn roofs

Thanks to Aries for the main song and to Nitz for fixing a little invisiblity problem with one roof.

Music: Cool but i think it has been used, at least once... i was gonna use it for Innovation when i found that out.
Editing: Better than before but still what we can expect from you, i think you should move up one step and try Vegas or Premiere... that'll let you use Supersampling which makes the edges smoother.
Stunts: 10/10, i've been trying a long time to go from one island to another but not with the way it was done here, amazing!

Oh and awesome scripting btw, it's a pleasure to watch.

^ You said it perfectly. This vid was brilliant!!! Every stunt was well planned and executed. All of them were very great, and some were very very great . Outstanding performance dudes. The double wallclimbs, the massive heights, the massive roofings, the grinds, the island gaps, the massive spins ... superb. And I really liked the main song too.

A lot of great stunts, of which the majority were also made possible due to the collisions fix (which I would REALLY like to have as a taxi lover *hint*). Only a few grinds but meh, who gives a shit, the whole vid was mindblowing.

3:48 - 3:58 - nice grinds Neo
4:01 - I love those climb to bumps
5:09 - fuckin huge climb dude, the camera angle of you just falling

6:35 - the 1 time you guys leave Staunton Island
6:52 - Damn man, just as sick as the last

This was a fantastic sequel. So much height you guys got. Some really cool landings too. I liked the boost to the other island and the landing on docks. You made great use of the new roofs. Very cool stuff. Cool scripting and nice editing as well. Good job guys.

This video is the coolest thing I've seen in SO long. I don't know how to really put it...

I've been discouraged by all aspects of the stunting community lately; my stunting, quality of videos, other people, but you guys have always seemed to put out a video at exactly the right time. What I'm really trying to say is that this video was FUN TO WATCH! I actually SMILED when I saw this video, something I hadn't done during a stunt video since who knows how long. It was a breath of fresh air to see you two tearing it up, really bringing back the kind of style of stunting and editing I like, simple. (Not to say your stunts are simple...more like simply the best ) Who gives a flying you-know-what if the new flashing technique wasn't used, or there wasn't enough split-screen, or whatever the hell. As movies progressed through the 20th century, editors didn't put more flashes and split screen in their movies, so why should we

I can honestly say without a bit of brown on my nose that this is in my top 3 of 2006.

Great video guys.

My review was fine, get over it, the only thing that could have possibly been nasty was that I said the editing was boring, which it was, it was plain, and you can say my editing was plain too but I could care less

editing on the intro was good tho, the clips fit nicely and it ran smooth.

There where no height records set in this vid even though that black building, the one in the big screen in this thread, is about 1400+ ft high, you gotta remember that your insane bonus height starts from where you stop touching an object. I only got 840ft on the second boost.

I didn't even really see what the stats were...but a subsequent attempt where I didn't hit the tracks (but landed on my damn roof) yielded over 1000ft...but I can't recall the exact figures.

Thanks everyone for the replies thus far...it's good to know that Taxi stunting is still popular and enjoyed by our fellow stunters.

Anyways, the vid.

I loved it. Huge air, the distances made my jaw drop especially. I never though there'd be a sequel. This vid was more energetic in my opinion, the scripting and shit was awesome, the editing as usual, clean, matched music perfectly. I enjoyed the music too, it was different but I liked it, sorta catchy. I'm listening to it right now Thanks for another great taxi vid guys
